Hey! That's rude, as you probably know BUFF is based on Overwolf, Overwolf logs the events from the Minecraft client. As you can see in this Community Post: https://discuss.overwolf.com/t/minecraft-add-event-support-to-all-minecraft-versions/862
Overwolf only supports tracking for Minecraft 1.15 and above.
So its not the devs fault, and certainly they are VERY SMART people capable of making a stable platform and rolling out builds and patches of Buff.
What we can do is hope that overwolf starts supporting Minecraft 1.8.9(Because we all know thats superior) and we can all enjoy playing 1.8.9!

Usually, when a card disappears from the market without prior notice it just means that there's a miscommunication between BUFF and supplier's API. This means that the card is most likely just out of stock but it doesn't appear in the market because BUFF staff needs to resolve the issue caused by the API miscommunication.
In the end, if the card is suddenly invisible in the market - it's most likely just out of stock and it will be restocked in the future once the issue with API is resolved.

2- Keep Overwolf running
3- Launch the game and see if BUFF starts automatically when you launch the game
