Doctor was once VERY weak character but thanks to her buffs she's much stronger now. But if you pick her you got to know that kiting will be harder cause you have nothing much to kite with, pure raw kiting. I didn't play her much aside from in low tier so I won't have exact advices for her, I apologise.
But some hunters will target you so... and she's extremely weak into wheel for example.
When you play with her you have to remember about healing, finding the proper timing for it needs a sec but you'll get it eventually. Doctor is a very good support cause she can bodyblock for other survivors and heal herself and... do it again 💀

Mercenary is a nice pick when gravekeeper gets banned. He's a very stable rescuer :))
Lanternist is a great kiter and can support pretty well too.
Perfumer can do anything lowkey, she can also just being 2nd tide.
Thief is tragic, don't think about it lol
Painter is mid survivor, you can if you want but I don't recommend.
Psych is good too, her recent buff made her even better kiter. She also can heal a rescuer with distance which allows them to rescue again.
Gardner... idk lowkey, she can be really good but ill day she's pretty hard to kite with. Gotta ask someone else for an opinion.
Proffesor, pretty good but has a VERY LONG cooldown so if you don't have a cheerleader in a team he might be annoying.
Seer is AMAZING, both a kiter and a suppirg to your teammates. He also teaches you to look back at the hunter. I really recommend.
Lucky Guys... I don't think he's a great choice after his nerfs.
