its hard to explain without any video but
say youre trying to dash through an obstacle and theres a surv with a butterfly on the other side. if the surv is hugging the obstacle, you wont be able to go through since theres no gap in between for you to land and geishas model will collide with the obstacle instead. in this case, you would need to angle yourself to either side of the surv since there are spaces there for you and her model wont collide with anything
alternative is throwing another butterfly and dashing to it instead
