now with the introduction of afk journey’s resonance system in companions beta, I really don’t see a need for the Rickety Cart anymore (might as well just make selling Common hero turn on by default or move it elsewhere)

heroes page ❗ notifications needs to have an option to be turned off. because everything is automatically on reso (which is great), it's constantly reminding us to put gear on heroes we aren't using or don't need, making it annoying to manage.

the peaks of time ❗ notification also isn't disappearing for me, despite me finishing 1-10 and claiming 30/45 rewards. next unlock is far off at 8-40, if there's something else to click that i missed, i don't see it.

Auto battle sometimes fails to continue after several Defeats

good rewards but it forces the bad mindset of needing to spend multiple hours on the first day in order to not fall behind.

Beast system is much worse

  • only a 20% chance to actually ascend from L to M, rng on which stats you get (and also the rarity??), and rng on which pet you get
  • Encyclopedia is nice, but resonance was a much more interesting system
  • rng in a system, particularly rng that might make you lose progress, is misery inducing. Remove the chances of combination failure and you'll lose less players

Resonance Crystal is much nicer, being able to freely swap around levels and units is very freeing, and allows players to have fun trying things out

Forked Fate is a fun challenge, he rewards match the difficulty, which is nice, butI'm concerned about how long-lived this mode will be once all the current units in the classic AFK are added in, many of them will trivialize this game mode

Duo Co-op is quite nice

  • I don't see why we should find a different person for each game mode. That feels silly and tedious
  • Consider letting us partner with more than one person
  • Let us access more units from our partner earlier on, chapter 18 feels incredibly late for that. It gets very annoying to replace units repeatedly, and there's no power balance reason to delay this so much

Realms feels no different than Twisted Realm in classic, would be boring to have both if the bosses are the same

Destiny Summon

  • I like the concept a lot, but not if it fully replaces Hero Choice Pulls. That's just taking away our flexibility and forcing us to spend much earlier on, which is going to lose players very quickly

I dont like the Beast system at all now.

The rng it carries is much worse than the current beast system in classic.

Devs tried to make it look somewhat like pokemon but it doesn't really work in practice.

For the beast system, remove at least 1, possibly 2 factors on rng. It’s very tedious to have so layers of rng to a system.

  • it’s random what area you get in beast summons
  • it’s random what beasts from that area are available to get that summon
  • it’s random what ascension the beasts in the selection have
  • it’s random what beast you get from that already random selection of beasts.
  • it’s random what stats the beast gets upon reaching legendary
  • it’s random what stats get transferred upon combining a beast to Mythic (and above)
  • there’s an 80% chance the ascension fails with seemingly no pity whatsoever.

The concept is very cool, but having so many different factors that you have no control over is (in my opinion) not an improvement at all over last beast system.

I have a feedback regarding Server Rush. I think it's not fair that only a limited number of players can get Brutus skin. I suggest that the skin also be available as consolation rewards too.

Fun idea
i like the idea of a long running campaign that offers chapter rewards,aiding you in the end game, that goes on for hundreds of chapters like we already have in base game AFK Arena
Then a monthly refresh campaign that basically is a speedrunning competition that gives rewards based on how far you get and how quick you got there

  • then you can add in leader board rewards
  • banners for lets say 30% and below
  • frames for t500/t200/t100/t50/t10/t1
  • this then can refresh monthly in order to keep pve fresh and allow new metas for campaign to be found and also means newer players who dont have access to endgame pvp can get monthly rewards instantly.

Furthermore, you could also add in the card system revamped where clearing certain chapters at certain points give heros/upgrade materials/summmoning materials

Additional feedback on the new beasts system

This version of beasts removes the best aspect, resonance, and introduces the single most hated feature in the game, the rng stats from collections.

Going from Rare to Legendary feels nice, albeit boring since it's just the usual ascension mechanic. Going past Legendary is horrible. It is painful, it is miserable, and nobody likes it.

When going from Legendary to Mythic, there's only a 20% chance of success. When going from Mythic to Ascended, there's a 10% chance of success and 15% chance of regressing back to Legendary. On average that's 50 Legendary copies to get to Ascended. And there's no guarantee that the beast will have desirable stats, in which case you have to keep ascending more beasts and combining them in hopes of getting better stats.

Not only will this, on average, take more copies to get to what the equivalent of resonance 18 is, you'll still have to do this for every new beast going forwards. Implementing this system as a replacement for resonance will cause significant harm to all players, particularly those who don't pay.

While losing players who don't pay money doesn't sound bad, it means that all competition and activity for the game will be permanently reduced, and many spenders will quit because their friends have quit as well. Please, please don't remove the resonance system, as it is one of the few things that keeps a large number of players active.

This is minor but since there are no dimensional heroes, the dimensional icon probably should be removed for the time being.

Bug report (I think?) Lab wrizz still gives out lab coins even though there is no lab store (unless I just haven't unlocked it)

A bit of improvement I think should be done for AFK companions. The days of week that the faction towers are open should be removed. Have all of the towers be open permanently.

gold income should be a lot higher barely even have enough gold to lvl heroes so no idea how we will have gold to upgrade eq

I agree, and I keep getting chests that hand out gear, but lower than the gear I currently have equipped. I can’t use it to upgrade unless I get waaaaaay more gold

Plus, why would I buy the gear in the store, which costs gold and would only be used to upgrade other gear anyway

Current autobattle is frustratingly bad and awful to use.

  • Reverts to previous formations.
    Why is this happening? Anytime I do a formation change and start autobattle, it would start autobattle with my previous formation. This has never been a problem in classic mode. I have to change formation, start a normal battle, quit out or have it finish, and THEN start an autobattle to use the formation I want.
  • Constantly clashes with other functions or even itself.
    The game "allows" you to do other things in game while you are autobattling, but if you try to actually do other things, on battle completion the battle will often fail to verify. Oftentimes I try to start another series of autobattles after failing 10 times, only for the buttons to malfunction, and the only way to fix this is the try and start a normal battle and then cancel out of that so the game no longer thinks I'm in a battle (even though I wasn't, I either canceled out or failed and it SHOULD HAVE stopped).
  • Why is it limited at 10 battles?
    The whole reason autobattles were introduced in the classic game was because people were trying to do it anyway with scripts and bots. And now you're limiting it, making it a redundant function that is useless if you're actually trying to push? And again, see above point: trying to restart another set of autobattle after a failure results in common bug. Even without the bug, this is NOT AFK--you are actively trying to bait further player interaction where there could be less. Again. Do you want an AFK-friendly game or not?

My feedback: Please DISABLE purchases in merchants while server rush reward event is ongoing. Pay2win does not mix with the race to chapter 16.

For some reason, Companions seem to use up battery quicker than Classic. Will there be optimizations?
