Huh. The modified Elo system they use for this game is tuned pretty unusually. I have a 61% win rate against Mr. Potato Noodle at 7T so far, and on paper that should be enough to stay consistently ahead in any sort of normal Elo system.

Instead, we've traded No. 1 spot more than once because as soon as someone gets ahead by even a little the game gives the lower rated player significantly more points for a win, and they lose less for a loss.

Obviously that's how a normal Elo system works too, but usually the difference is barely noticable at near equal ratings.
