yes it works but 1000000% not worth it for new accounts

basically, if you haven't triggered reso6, you can consider this: you only need FOUR lv6 pets to trigger resonance--for any pet you level in excess of those four, you will get a refund of their copies minus one.

In other words, if you level EVERY pet to 6 THEN trigger resonance, you will get from each pet beyond the four used to trigger the resonance their "current level minus one" spices

The downside is that it will take FOREVER; you are basically giving up progress in the interim
