Yeah - Alaro is mostly for the team-wide haste/energy/dodge/insight boost with some extra healing and stun that lets people get their ultimates off and actually cc high TY people, but it doesn't help in all situations.

I have C&R but I've been using them in another team, though he'd probably help it with the energy drain and def down if I didn't mind the sacrifice.
I tried Astar for the multi-hit but it was a lower win-rate there actually when I did test it, but I haven't tried her this debuff. I just assumed with her shield not working, it wouldn't help much. I could try switching her in though.

Vurk's poison seems to interact well with the energy reduction effects from the Ice Debuff and as long as enemies are grouped up, he'll hit them all very quickly for the multi-hit debuff as well. If they have any divers, they also usually jump on Vurk and get stunned/poisoned so it works very well against that but otherwise it's niche.

Alaro is only really used for granting the team haste/IS/energy/Dodge. The IS with the Owl helps their cc actually proc despite the heroes not naturally having much IS, and the haste and energy helps people get their ultimates off really quickly because they're all bundled together, but he's probably not the best choice in all situations.

So pretty niche and not recommended to build into, but if that helps.
