He can fit into his own team, usually an invasion variant, which works well but not as well as the Dims variant. But if you get a decent win-rate on Dims without him, or for some reason don't have Dims, you can still get a really decent team with him by himself.

In upcoming Freeze debuff, because Wutus does especially badly in that debuff, a lot of people will place him by himself or in Graveborns/with Grez because Shields don't work otherwise and don't feed him like they normally do.

Ainz is really good in ice, but only average in the other two debuffs (arguably worse in volcano). But simply replacing him with Brutus is usually not the best move, especially for 4/5 teams and up (i.e. where things really matter for ranking)

42-26 Thoran cheese seems very high RNG - been on it for a few hours. Any modifications that might help it? I have higher RC than your clear @sturdy elbow , so might be able to make very minor substitutions. E.g. thinking Lyca instead of Lucy - lower defense, more haste.

Yeah, just wondering what can help. In this case feels like Thoran isn’t always ulting, so Lyca should help - but not sure if there are concerns like ulting too early (eg might be better to ult a little later to catch some big enemy ult)…

Also other considerations like is it possible some heroes might dodge too much and take damage away from Thoran.

In my experience, ulting early the second time on top of Brutus immunity is the only concern, which requires manual intervention anyway

Imo, if thoran is not ulting even once most of the time, your rng is suffering a lot, because that stacks multiplicatively with all the other rng.

Observed a few runs, Lyca doesn’t seem to help. For some some reason, with her Kethur/Zol stay in my back line for longer after killing the others, and escape Thoran’s fear range. Not sure why though, maybe just bad luck from the runs I observed…

Is Thoran able to ult? Remove/add calls(on Thoran too) if he's not ulting. You can try units that move forward from backline, otherwise there's not much to it - it can be tricky with Zol.

He ults only occasionally unfortunately. Let me try call on him and/or Lyca sub for either Lucy or Raku. Not sure why Lyca was doing worse earlier, might just have been bad luck or some bias in observation on my part.

Thoran seems to always die before ult the first time. Ult after death is high RNG - seems like luck of whether Kelthur and Zol are in fear range, but not completely sure.

I feel kinda left out with the swapping discussion… don’t think I want to / should swap Wolise for Waden/Wutus… and celehypo investments so far are also standard (Alna, Twins, Lucy, M Mortas/Khaz, working on Haelus).

Only potential candidates are M Ezizh, L+ Wukong/Flora, but that doesn’t seem big. (Could swap for Veithael progress if I chose one of these.)

I do have an L+ AEzizh, but using that seems questionable too - I would have to push some random woke for partial progress, which is meaningless, and still need to go get another AEz copy.
