It depends on if the mediocre teams are good enough to beat some of the teams that you face at your rank

If they both will not be able to beat anything common, they’ll both have shit winrates and it would be better to stick with one strong team

but if you’re breaking apart a 70% team to get two 50% teams, that’s probably good

Although having a strong team also gives you a chance to beat people who are way above you, which gives more points

I would say don’t break a strong team unless the hero you’re taking from it more or less enables some other comp you need

Beating krakens gets you wins like this
