Cruke is pretty flexible doesn't have to worry about survivability and doesn't have summons so not sure why you'd build nev specifically for cruke

Yeah - CR has DR and an extra life and reflects damage back for burst, hits lots of times with cage of fire for multihit and drains energy and ramps up their stats over time for ice. On top of the CC and gathering aspect they naturally give.
So they can fit into a lot of places.

Echoing what others have said here - this was quite high rng, took me a while. In general I feel gear makes a lot of difference in chpt 40… E.g. dodge gear can reduce a lot of rng here.

idk about red cards, but from the screen you shared earlier, Merlin, Silas, and LDV are the most impactful 9s you’re missing. Anasta 9 is useful in a bunch of modes. Astar is useful in a lot of modes, and Sonja is mostly for pvp and temporal if you use tanks there
