These depend heavily on if the buffs are better than your standard relics. I actually like the base ones a ton but those ones can be effective especially if you get the beacon that removes the debuff on them, for consistency sake I tend to avoid them but they do have use if the downside isn't relevant

I put oden with daimon instead of rosa and added baba yaga to grez team. I had mishka and desira swapped as well. I had to run awakened talene because my talene is only legendary. These changes took me to 300 but honestly near the end my teams were just a revolving door cause people kept dying

My mishka was also only 203 0e at the time of push. She is now 53e. Engraving mats take too long to get

I prefer it at lv 3, you get enough time to ult before you get killed if you face a bad matchup at start. First two levels costs essence (900) after that it uses cores. Up to you whether it's worth or not, I just prefer to not get screwed by bad options at start and use rewinds that early.

You can always reset before doing a run. The only one I took was steady prep. I'm also at 70 tank sus 65 mage 300+ seems manageable now but you can still get screwed by bad matchups. I just used my tries for this week to test my matchups so I know who to avoid and how to position my units better.

I don’t know how well it will do with all of your elite plus heroes but try using daimon and oden in separate teams. Run daimon with rosa and rowan and one other healer hero and a tank. Run oden with pippa and some tanks and at least one healer. You also should use scarlet in one of your 3 teams unless she is just murdering all your heroes. She should at least be really helpful if you are failing on a boss floor

I have always used baba yaga with graveborn and it just seems to work. She is a great matchup for burst heroes like athalia, nara, and gwyn.

That said, I would love to have a better knowledge base of hero match ups. My memory isn’t great and i am sure i get a lot of surprises that others might be like: “well why would you put those teams against each other”

like I said, I used lucius and brutus and numisu as subs, I had twins and rosa in as subs, I think I maybe used twins once and the team did not wipe but twins died cause they are only mythic. I think by the time I needed rosa too many were dead and it didnt matter anymore. I used rosa successfully in a daimon team for awhile before I read the guide suggestions with the mishka team I used. Rosa + Daimon + rowan + A. Talene + rotating door worked okay for me. I also think rosa might work with scarlet team if needed so I have kept her in as a sub but I havent tested that theory yet. I think my scarlet is still just murdering her team saddly and I heard peggy was the solution but it's not working well for me, she only lives a few floors.

I don't think it's intended to be a limited event, it's a progression based game mode like campain and towers but one that resets each 3 months allowing you to get the rewards more than once (which is not the case in campain and towers).

I agree that any limited event should allow full base rewards for everyone, all of them do. I just think one of the issues with temporal rift is that it is viewed as a limited event and I don't think it is one

While I can enjoy the mode at times it is the most pay to win thing in the game because you get so much essence from purchases compared to free to play. Regardless of whether people think you should be able to reach floor 600 it just kinda feels bad how pay to win it is. That is my 2 cents. If it were more ftp friendly I think I would enjoy it more. I don’t know if most people would even make it to 600 if it were less pay to win as it is a difficult and unforgiving mode.

I understand, but that's even worse in campain and towers, no? Only a few whales are at the top of each towers and the latest chapter in campain while in this game mode many are able to reach full progression.

If you compare it to campain floor 300 to 350 would be the current F2P wall

I mean that compared to other game modes you get to get a good amount of ressources each 3 months. In campain and towers if you are at a wall now, how much will you be able to progress in 3 months? 1 campain chapter? 20 floors of each faction tower or less if you have double fights?

I know that as a F2P I could probably manage 1 campain chapter but not much more, that's 4500 Diamonds, 200 red cores and 20 SG cards which is less than I would get from doing 300 temporal rift floors

Does a cap really matter? It's most likely there to make a proper top 100 for guild chests while already being in place if they decide to change the game mode to put better ressources on higher floors

It's pretty much what I say, just like F2P can't get higher than chapter 41/42 in campain and floor 900 in king tower. That's the same on all those game modes.
