Yes. Most of your power in Rift comes from beacon levels. If you’re weaker than others you just wait and get higher beacon levels till you can push more. Where you’ll cap depends on just how weak you are but you can get plenty of rewards regardless. Just check out the guide in the pins for team comps and beacon investments.

If you go vexing ALL of your heroes' health gets nuked to like 10% making it impossible to progress without restarting or the beacon that lowers the penalty(not worth picking up).

Vexing can be useful if you know you aren't strong enough to progress but want to get just 1 more stage before stopping/restarting

Yes there is when you beat a stage it can offer badges for them

So if you pick someone from the beckoning or whatever the next stage just reroll the badges til it gives you one for them is what I do
