Mind you, this collections mechanic was never needed, or should have been introduced in the first place. All they had to do was adjust the god artifacts, or add more of them. A great design fit for this game that has worked for years. And was already an expansion on duras artifacts...

This can only be explained as a blatant, disgusting cash-grab move. Solely fixated on it can make them more money.... Not what is good for the game and its original vision.

Best of luck to Lilith to get AFK 2 (Journey) off the ground with their reputation shattered with the first installment... And how they clearly do not care or appreciate all of their investors/donors. And the massive amount of capital that was given to them, by we, the players.

Basically, 'factionless' not taking side should be a signature daily sign in bonus of say, 100 diamonds, that's right, you don't even get to have 8000 from last place because it's too good for your 'neutral stance'

Thinking of suggesting this revision for Ghoulish Gallery and Collections, what do you guys think?

You select a Collection that you want, then play through GG. If you complete the 10th floor, you win the Collection.

From here, one of two things can happen. If it's your first time getting it, you unlock it and get to equip it to your heroes that are of the same class as the Collection, but ONLY if you manage to complete the 10th floor. Getting kicked out or quitting the mode early will not unlock the Collection.

If it's something you already have, then it gets converted into materials that you can use to upgrade the Collection, kinda like the fragments for the Dura and Class Exclusive Artifacts. How many materials you get is determined by the level of the Collection at the end of a GG run, with a Level 10 Collection giving the most materials.

Much like with the Artifacts, each Collection could be leveled up to five stars, with every two stars being an upgrade to the Collection's effect.

The engravings meanwhile would become little stat boosts for your team in Ghoulish Gallery, making them a little bit stronger and a little bit more likely to survive. Any engravings earned will be converted into materials needed to upgrade the Collections, with green giving the lowest, while Mythic gives the most.

Outside of the Collections, you can also earn various other stuff like gold, Dust, Elemental Shards and Cores, etc. How much you get is determined by how well you do during a run.

Thoughts on this? I put it in game suggestions: Reduce the enroll time for Mystic Starzone to 3 days in-line with the event activity itself. A 9 day enroll time is too much because largely inactive people who only come on once a week max, join your Militia and then don’t turn up for the actual event and don’t even do bare minimum and just drag the whole group down. Reduce the enrollment time to 3 days Lilith, please!

Old guilds like mine have players that have been playing since forever but are now online only once a week or two weeks. So, keeping that in mind the chances of barely-actives in your guild signing up are much lower if there is a 3 day enrollment, so that leaves space in your Militia for the other new actives stuck in other guilds that couldn’t fill numbers… that way you meet more active players that are possibly looking to move and invite them over to your guild. It’s a win win for all.

Firstly Eugene was stated that its gonna be "free". You can see that information from the patch highlight video from the official YouTube channel.
Putting most of the copies behind events as the main reward is just paying for a copy with resources instead of TG cards, I think anyone can imagine how this is not free..

Secondly I didn't ask for more events, I just stated that Events became more rare recently. How often do you see events like earlier that was pretty often and from where low spenders/non spenders were getting their resources (Isles, The Lost Sigils, Lyrical Exploration, HoE, etc.) They used to be cycling pretty often and now they are having big brakes between them (and having Eugene behind them so you can't get anything else if you want to keep your resource economy).
Therefore, if Eugene needs to be behind events it should be behind special events, not events where you need to suffer with not getting anything else and ruin your income.

So recently I discovered this post on the subreddit talking about a rework for Ghoulish Gallery and Collections.

And on the post above, I also threw in the suggestion of up cycling the collected stats, which would basically involve merging engravings of the same tier in exchange for an engraving of the same type that's one tier higher, i.e. 25 green Tenacity engravings for one blue Tenacity. And as the tiers went higher, the required materials would go down, till it's something like two Mythics into a Mythic+ or something.

What do you guys think?

Let the battles in campaign or faction towers be battling with preset formations like in "treasure scramble". But only one mode at a time! You can choose the teams and then click "auto" running the battles, while the app is closed/background. Most players are using a second device or autoing the battles over the night while sleeping , but it's way to uncomfortable. Let the afk game be really afk, not only for the Ressources.

If the beast is not meta in PvE then nerfing it or reworking it will have little to no impact since nobody actually uses nor suggest it in PvE.

If it does more damage than the top dps in most cases of the enemy team that is little more or close to 100 percent extra damage done from the team if that does not cross your mind not including the fact its a beast potentially killing off hero('s), not being able to be killed nor cc'd, also its own cc and damage buff from its abilities it gives for your team to do more damage. That's unbalanced because that is literally game breaking.

But yeah you're just on the "Oh i dont want to upset people using something in game that some people use" thought process. You're not actually looking into balancing a game nor keeping it on the trend it has such as the impactfulness of every other beast, not like slumber seal is a major outlier or anything.

It's not me really, if you played for long enough you'd see the general trend of Lilith refusing to make hero nerfs because of the implications, which can be bad as driving away players aka potential spenders, drastic moves will kill the game faster as it happened way too many times

Compared to one person wanting the nerf, from a business standpoint, would you want to appeal to that one particular individual over many more that might be driven off? I know I would prefer to be the favoured individual too, but that's just not happening unless I happen to hold sway over the company

Discord is not used by many actively in the sense they check suggestion logs of games. You only get people that want to run the game the way they want by casting their votes in suggestions, and have no lives but live on discord. Someone could suggest something good, and you will have mostly nay sayers because it does not align with their wants. I don't need someone telling me something is a bad or good idea I am well aware of everything, and regardless of their past decisions on things they find ways to accommodate for it and have nerfed, reworked, patched bugs of hero's multiple times, so thanks for trying to tell me a lie that they wont nerf something cause you think one person has suggested this before. Picture to further iterate how overwhelmingly impactful the beast is because of one hero can stall a match to break the game with a beast that cant be cc'd nor killed. If you do not know what I mean by being impactful the Seal did so much damage it is like having 600 percent damage buff for the team by the total amount the hero's did alone. Most Beasts don't come close to that in their own damage, nor does their buffs reach 600 percent extra damage not even 100%. It is also in their best interests to nerf things that are overpowered because you will just piss people off being pigeonholed into one play style to win, so it is not a selfish bad decision to nerf it to begin with, the other route they have done to address overpowering things is to make more overpowered units, with the new beasts system, a more overpowered beast, but that seems to be a tall order because of how impactful and overpowering that beast can be they will end up breaking their own game.

I have enough e60s I could make 10 full teams of at least 30/9e60 heros and it's still a terrible idea. It's not possible to make more than 6 maybe 7 good teams. 10 just adds a layer of RNG where you hope your bad team 7-10 hit the good team 1-6 as little as possible. Win rates swing wildly because sometimes you're hitting a lot of other mediocre teams or sometimes you're getting matched up against too many of the strong comps.

Last round in scramble my t7 went from 45% to 4% in 2 rounds because I got lucky with one and unlucky with another. And now that it's only 25 fights RNG matters more than ever.

The last point, can I take my +2 oculus off of Abel and move it to my rimuru on a different floor and have them both clear

CR is already hard enough to build for, and that's 35 heroes at a time with 6 different bosses and a ton of overlap

I will agree with you that i formulated my suggestion wrong. I should've made it more clear that it was to get manual to the same level of good drops as auto, so that is my mistake sorry

And the problem with playing the mode even tho it's fun, is that I only get 7 runs in a week and at least 5 out of 7 runs doesn't even get 1 red even with using 1-2 golden cards and 1 purple 😦 when I use the same cards for the same collection on auto, I get around 1-3 red skills consistently. Ofc that's nice, I just wish I got the same kind of results for playing the mode in the way I enjoy if you get what I mean?

Playing manually I rarely loose battles and if I do it's cause I betted on being able to collect a team I couldn't fulfil, in those cases I don't mind bad drops at all cause that was my mistake as the player ofc just to clarify ^^

If I was able to buy more rounds for diamonds I would be much more inclined to play manually than atm where I'm aiming to get some of the collections to actually be +1/2/3

They had a talk about it before, not sure what happened to the discussion, right now the only way to get extra runs per weeks is to level up your perk card

• 1 extra run at like level 3 if I recall correctly
• 3 extra run at level 5

Unfortunately, the problem with ghoulish gallery is like...

• Yes it kind of is fun for the first maybe, 10-20 tries, but then it gets extremely repetitive and very very time consuming
• While you said you get to try out heroes you never owned, or tried before, there's actually very very extremely limited selection of hero, you can't get say, awakened
• The fights aren't actually fun because you only get one shot per battle, if you win, you get stuff, if you lose, you get nothing and lose 'life', which push you slowly towards failing your actual objective, which is to craft a proper collection hopefully with good stats, also, the upgrade curve mean the battle is either you lose badly, or it's one sided

That's the issue though. Only 80. Literally nothing. For 2 months it's 160. 4 months 320. Not even close to enough to ascend 1 dragon hero, plus the fact their stars need to be done with dragon tg cards too.
And if you are comparing tg cards with dragon tg, don't forget we have many sources for tg cards. From top 100 scramble to CR to rift to 50 from temple of time gift event to 10 tg from voyage featuring new awakened hero to legendary epic. And also every faction tower gives 5 tg cards every 20 floors

It makes you select Challenge or Go, in which if you go there and select some heroes but leave some slots open and try to exit out it comes up with another popup:
"You have Defense Force Heroes x# which are unused. Do you want to reselect them?" (Confirm or Continue Choosing)
I want an option to make it so I can leave the slots empty without it giving me either popup. They are annoying. I like to leave slots empty so I can choose a hero if I need a healer I can grab one, If I need a tank I can grab one, etc.

Hmmmm I don't think you understand the issue with dragon trials. So lemme explain.

Let's say I'm a player, could be a whale, dolphin or f2p, doesn't matter. I cleared stage X and now I'm onto stage Y. So on stage Y I put my heroes together in teams that make sense. This buffer with that dmg dealer, that tank with this support, etc. you get the gist. Now I click on battle button. Now I gotta watch my team battle in slow motion. Just for what ? To see a defeat screen?
Ok, there's a defeat screen. So what went wrong ? Could be just rng. Maybe my hero A didn't use ultimate in time. Maybe hero B died too early. Could be that. Or could be wrong positioning. Maybe my dmg dealer is dying to enemy athalia. Ok no worries then, let's retry! Now I gotta watch the battle in slow motion again, which is useless to begin with since the battle screen of dragon trials itself doesn't tell me anything about what's actually happening. That's an issue.
Or it could be I need a specific hero in team 2 to counter a specific enemy. So I put my heroes around in different places, try different synergies, etc. and click battle button... What do I see ? I see neither the option to skip battle nor auto battle button. Which means i gotta see my heroes battling in 1x speed all the while I get no information about what's actually happening in the battle. So what I'm seeing is useless and I gotta go in battle report to find out what went wrong.

Or consider scenario 2 : I look at in game leaderboards or discord or other places to find clear for stage Y. I spot my peer / near peer people's clear ( aka people who are just as strong / weaker than me )
So now I copy them. And now I let it autobattle! Just kidding there's no autobattle in this gamemode 🤡 well that's dumb.

Since rng exists, I might not clear the stage 1st try. So now do I sit and keep clicking on battle button after every time seeing my heroes battle in 1x speed ?

Or the devs could implement autobattle button. Now I can let it autobattle while I'm doing something else productive.

The very concept of competitiveness is based on a form of balancing; otherwise, the ranking loses its value and the sense of accomplishment fades away.

I believe that from a marketing perspective, it is more beneficial to retain the 99.9% of players attracted to the mode with this fix. Disrupting the mode to such an extent destroys all competitiveness and simply reduces AE to "who has the most Gwyneths?"
As I mentioned, I believe it is the competitive aspect of AE that unites a large community around the game today, including players who spend a lot of money on the game.
I wonder what will happen from a marketing standpoint when Lilith releases a Celestial or an Awakened hero just before or during Abex, as is often the case? Will these heroes be as appealing even if they add few billions to the roster? Would this still be the case if Gwyneth didn't deal as much damage?
