For first-timers and new members, we encourage you to read through the server rules and information, server roles, server channels, channel descriptions, and pinned messages to familiarize yourself with the AFK Arena Discord server.
We hope you have a pleasant stay and enjoy your time with us!
1. No offensive language, harassment, personal attacks, trolling, religious/political discussion, sexism, racism, hate speech or other disruptive behavior
(a) Attacking or harassing members through Direct Messaging or in any channel will be subject to disciplinary action.
(b) No offensive or inappropriate nicknames or profile/banner pictures. This includes blank, invisible, special characters, emoji, everyone/here or bot names. Your name can include special characters but must have at least one alphanumeric (ASCII) value and cannot be lengthy to the point of spam. The moderation team is able to deem any aspect of your name or picture inappropriate and you will be given 24 hours to fix it. Refusal will result in a permanent ban.
(c) Suggestions that are only complaints/full of curse words/trolling with no constructive content will be promptly removed, and the poster will be warned.
(d) Do not ping/mention moderators or Lilith staff if it’s not important.
(e) All punishments are on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to discuss your punishment(s), please DM @jolly path.
2. Do not impersonate anyone, this includes Lilith staff and moderators
(a) Offering help to those asking is always welcome, but please leave the moderation to the staff team. Mini-modding is not allowed under any circumstance.
3. Do not spam or post nonsense in any channel
(a) Excessive amounts of messages (including emoticon floods), attached files, links, pings/mentions, reposting memes, etc. is a violation and subjects you to disciplinary action. Persistent misbehavior will lead to a permanent ban.
(b) Do not flood the help channels with conversation. Ask a question and move on.
4. Use the appropriate channel**
(a) Make sure to read the channel topic and pinned messages before you talk in a channel.

5. No NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content
(a) Any NSFW posts (including text descriptions and images) that contain gore, partial nudity/pornography, or disturbing images will result in an automatic ban. Please respect that there are minors in this server and act accordingly.
6. No scamming— scam links, IP grabber, etc.
7. Do not promote or discuss any kind of cheats or hacks.
8. No advertisements of any kind
(a) Promoting other games and Discord servers are prohibited. You may talk about other games but do not encourage other people to play it.
(b) No selling or discussions of selling of accounts, AFK Arena or any other account type.
(c) You may not advertise your social media pages of any kind on any platform.
(d) Do not advertise your YouTube channel unless they are strictly AFK Arena related. If you would like to be an AFK Arena content creator and gain permission to post in [#classic-tv](/guild/441477431501783060/channel/578847518226645012/), please DM @jolly path.
9. Listen to the moderators
(a) If a moderator tells you to stop doing something, you should immediately stop before they have to take action such as a warn/mute/kick/ban.
(b) Don’t argue about the moderator’s decision in chat. If you would like to appeal or discuss your punishment(s) or comments, feel free to DM @jolly path.
(c) Evading any kind of punishment will result in a permanent ban.
10. Copyright Infringement
(a) Files about upcoming collaborations shared prior to official release(s) are subject to warnings and deletion. This includes but is not limited to information discovered through datamining.
(b) Discussion of collaboration must be within the constraints set (check pinned messages of channels).
11. Guild Recruitment
(a) Please refer to the pins in the [#guilds](/guild/441477431501783060/channel/519713798970540032/) channel to apply to be a Recruiter.
(b) Users who are seen with "recruiting" in their names or recruiting for guilds outside of the [#guilds](/guild/441477431501783060/channel/519713798970540032/) channel are subject to reset names and/or warnings.

When you message @jolly path, an available Moderator will be with you shortly. If reporting, please include all relevant information so that we may handle the issue promptly.
Note: You won’t be able to message @jolly path if your "Allow Direct Messages From Server Members" setting is off, so make sure to turn it on beforehand.
To do this, go to: User Settings > Content & Social > Social Permissions > Toggle 'Direct Messages'
1st Warning: Just a warn, to inform you of your violation. Please read the #rules-and-info carefully to avoid future incidents.
2nd Warning: A 12-hour temporary mute will take effect.
3rd Warning: A 24-hour temporary mute will take effect.
4th Warning: A temporary ban of 7 days will take effect.
5th Warning: A permanent ban will take effect. This means a complete removal of your access to the server.
Note: The punishment will still vary depending on the severity of your offense. You will receive the warning through <@&975769120299700276> so make sure you turn on "Allow Direct Messages From Server Members" in your settings.
To do this, go to: User Settings > Content & Social > Social Permissions > Toggle 'Direct Messages'
After ANY formal warning, mute, or ban given by the staff, your role(s) will be removed and your MEE6 level MAY be reset with respect to your history by the staff.
If you have been banned previously, temporary or permanent, and it has been appealed, you will no longer be able to acquire level roles via MEE6.
If you would like to appeal any decision made, kindly message @jolly path. Please remember that level resets CANNOT be appealed.

AFK Arena Discord Level Roles
Please note that if you have received a warning in the month prior to applying for a Discord level role or left the server for your own reasons, you will have to wait 2 weeks after applying as a probationary period. Then, after applying again, you may receive the role. In order to keep your Discord level roles, you must consistently abide the server rules. Constant leaving, trolling, or warnings will lead to an XP reset.
You can check your level or the server leaderboard in #levelup-channel. Once you reach the level associated with each role, please send a DM to @jolly path to see if you are in good standing to receive the respective role.
