I thought this hero was connected to tazi as one of ezizh's goals. but the next one awakened by 98% is a mauler, therefore it cannot be part of the unified lore system of the awakened tazi. But if this goddess is the target of ezizh, who broke her mind and subdued her to his side? this explains why NONE of her rescuers returned-she killed them herself. so let me try to predict what the hero will be like:
this is a dodger swinging on a branch of warriors. as one of the abilities will fall into a state of insanity, which will increase damage and attack speed, but in return increase the damage received. as a nominal item, there will be either her primary weapon, or something like an artifact of submission, which will subside at death. In addition, I am almost sure that the WHOLE mechanics of this character's abilities will be based on the fact that she either obeys eziju, then resists, which will be expressed either in complete impotence, or in fits of rage.

Probably due to the balance of nature. As we know ever since the gb's appearance, the balance of nature has been in chaos which has led to the creation of the balancer boss and other evil creatures. I guess it is the duty of elemental guardians to fix this problem . Banished island is home to tainted gb who dont want to be brought back to life, so the wood guardian could be there to help them lift the curse. We also see baden and respen together in awakened thane's lore

I have already built an approximate theory of the further plot, but I do not guarantee that everything will go exactly like this. the probability of this is somewhere 31%

Since ezizh took the form of gouldos in the real world, and with the help of his powers was able to subdue Khazard, who, breaking away from the Pentagon of Elementals, created an imbalance in the world, which became the beginning of the mass appearance of the grave-born. Agreed with the last point. Since there's mention of an Elemental Altar in Thane's story, we're likely to get another event similar to the Chasmic Altar.

it's easy to match.
Gouldos is an intelligence-based magician, just like ezizh. both have tentacles in the design. moreover, these are the only heroes who have them. the abyss appears in the history of both heroes, and even more-both characters were her bosses, and ezizh was first restrained by tazi, then released.
both characters have a mind break and its control-again, the only ones who can. in the ent of both characters, red eyes appear (khazard in the story of respen and the townsman in the story of ezizh)-a symbol of control. In the hotel, Hazard talks about the "true god"-Ezizh calls himself the god of nightmares.
in the lore of mezot, there is a certain fog located in the sea between chapter 34 and 35-the first places where something with tentacles is mentioned. and since I can guarantee 97% that mezot is a messenger of Gouldos, like a silver surfer, as can be seen from the updated animation of his ultimate, then it's about him, and it goes all the way up to chapter 42, diluting this matter with a huge dragon and winding corridors. after completing chapter 42, we move into the realm of dreams, which suggests that the evil that came to the real world came from there. and if the first locations were rosy and positive, then the recent one is a pure nightmare, in which, again, the abyss appears.

As far as I can see, it's a valid theory. But I wouldn't say there's so many similarities it's practically confirmed. There are many differences too. While they're similar in terms of the tentacles, Ezizh was born from a plant, and so his are vines. Gouldos' powers and design is inspired by Lovecraftian monsters like cthulhu, who is connected to the sea and often depicted with octopus tentacles. His design is also very clearly similar to an octopus. In Lovecraftian fashion he's an unfathomable, ancient god far beyond our capacity to comprehend. The scale of his threat is so much larger than Ezizh'.

They're not the only characters with mind-break and insanity/control like powers. Mehira has, as does Mezoth. The 'red eyes' in Ezizh story were those of blood-shot sleep-deprivation. Ezizh cannot inflict insanity like Gouldos can. He manipulates their dreams according to what person is dreaming, and insanity comes as a side-effect of being assaulted by never-ending nightmares.
Since he only have powers over nightmares, Tasi is his arch-nemesis as the dream guardian. Since Gouldos is connected to the sea, his enemies are Khazard, Gorvo and Seirus. Khazard succumbed, while Gorvo and Seirus fought him off as he tried to break from his seal. He whispers to beings and manipulate them as they're awake, while Ezizh relies on them being asleep.

Gouldos was defeated at the Chasmic Altar event, hence the campaign chapter nerf. Ezizh is very much still alive. As for the insanity-nightmares connection, it is indeed a strong point. I assume the descent to the dreamworld is related to the Cursed/Twisted Realm and the expansion of the Dreamrealm lore. Again, it's a valid theory, I don't disagree there. But I'd hardly say it's confirmed.

in the context of tentacles, it doesn't matter what they are from, as opposed to where they come from. and the tentacles of both Gouldos and ezizh are from the abyss.
although outwardly they seem similar, but in fact they are strikingly different. Megira's mind control is a charm, while Ezizha and Gouldosa are madness.
mesoth has a similar power, but he is only a messenger of gouldos, as the updated ultimatum ability tells us (before that he just swallowed the enemy).
red eyes in the case of ezizh is exactly madness, because there were no more nightmares, and people slept well. At the same time, Ezizh had become strong enough to break out into the real world. Ezizh's enemy is Tazi, but only when it comes to the world of dreams.

Where does it say where Ezizh tentacles are from the abyss? If you're thinking about his third skill, that seems like a mistranslation. I did not see any mention of 'abyss', instead 梦魇触须 was used (nightmare tentacle).
There's nothing in Ezizh' story saying this man slept well after this, besides the word used was "bloodshot". He wasn't strong enough to break into the real world, he was sent back by Tasi almost immediately. She is his nemesis because Ezizh does not have powers outside of dreams. Why else would he rely on Talene's dream to kickstart the disasters?

Yes, he's a creature of the abyss, and he's connected to the sea. Precisely because the abyss, or gate to the abyss, is below the sea. He can't emerge from anywhere else, and his powers grows in proximity to that place. Yet Ezizh has free reign since the dreamrealm lies parallel to the real one. The 'gate' are dreams. Grethel's apprentice was only influenced once he went there. Before that he was simply curious. After going there, his mind was damaged. With the fisherman the use of 'nightmare' as a descriptor is suspicious indeed, but it could also simply be 'nightmare-like'. With Grethel's apprentice it says "tinges my dreams", which could very well mean "haunts me both sleeping and awake".
The brand of 'madness' is different with both too. Ezizh drives people insane through nightmares, Gouldos' drives them insane through knowledge and truths greater than the mind can comprehend (Lovecraft).

That's a pretty non-descript, demonic skull. If anything, it resembles Lucretia's skulls more. Ezizh doesn't have eyes.
