His neutral, merciful expression is WAY better and way more representative of his character than this " I am angry, I am an Assassin's Creed character I'm gonna assassinate you !! " mask that we are going to have in game. So why, what is the explication ?

Well yeah, but in this case it's not even a simple change of style, it's just a pure inconsistency isn't it ? Why would he have two ( way ) different masks, let alone a super angry mask ? I know it probably won't bother people too much but It completely ruins the character for me.. If only they changed that for the " true " release, but I know it's impossible it'll be the case

It's the same case for others, Mezoth having less of a spiky feel on his horns with different mask, Ezizh being completely inaccurate to his portrait art where he has much spikier horns and design improvement, Seirus being god awfully made worse than his portrait art, Thane having different things added onto him compared to his portrait art, etc.

Mask or not, others have this effect too.

Typically it's the "artist passing to another artist" effect where the original idea/concept gets slightly changed because of different styles to interpret the same concept

I have no complaints about that. Portraits arts are meant to express a character well to the viewer and more flamboyant looks to them would definitely achieve that even if they are inconsistent. The portrait styles remind me of those glass stained window paintings where the people painted seldom resemble each other

And I know there won't be petition or even complaints about it since, well, people don't necessarily read lore so even if it doesn't fit his lore / moveset at all, WELL.. it's " cool ", he looks like a freaking killer, he's angry. I use an app called ibis paint and what i did was draw out the parts that stukc out (skull edges) and in the corner of this eye i saw a parting of colour to connected the lines there to make the fur patternand then added small details to the colouring to make it look like afk arenas style

uhh him and Rowan are the sons of a brilliant merchant who started from the bottom and literally bought his way into nobility (without any underhanded dealings that I know about).
In traditional fantasy fashion, the children chafed at pampered upbringing, Angelo was the "I know my calling and humble bard is the only way i'll be happy" so he ran off first.
Rowan later got his father's wanderlust and merchant's sense, and ran off with his duck companion who lays eggs of fortune, standing up an arranged marriage in the process.

Essentially Rowan is an Orphan who took advantage of things and became where he is now, Angelo the older brother is where he is now, etc.
