Mask curator

Now maetria is old as fuck and prolly has this ability cause of being an hypo finch.....but are hypos evolving cause it seems all the old hypos dont necessarily have this power or have used it.

And pretty sure vy was just an illusion over an actual transformation so really only leaving the mask curator and maetria with this ability.

What makes you say it's a powerful skill? It might be something only learnable by stronger hypogeans but that's not to say it's some incredibly difficult feat. Deception, manipulation and illusions aren't very exclusive skills, they're mastered by several of the hypogeans. Disguise is just another form of that

For a hypo to litterally blend in and masacre an entire village without a trace and dissapear some where else is pretty skillful and more dangerous then say a giant cananilistic hypo just walking at you....if athalia wasnt helping that girl i doubt mc would of been found. Usually when hypos attack celestials are on the ball. Mc did it without alerting the celestials and moved on.

Edwin mainly wanted to end Thoran though because he was turning more diplomatic than militaristic and Edwin saw that as him being weak as a leader. Need to differentiate the tainted from the court of terror. The dead tide fleet have less to do with baden than with trez, as they were basically created to harass enemies of the empire like the tainted. Torne is also related to the dead tide fleet, somewhat, in that he is also in rustport. Oden was a threat to thoran which is why quaedam sent the eldritch council to deal with him, and kelthur and ferael are part of the eldritch council so it is possible they locked Oden up but that's speculation based on the info we know

While it seems he's affiliated with the School of the Dead from their union story, The Whispering Doom/Doom Spire seems to be its own thing working directly under the Court of Terror, and not a subfaction of the School of the Dead. Though I suppose that is debatable

The heroes that are connected to the void realm have been laid out as well
