Big difference. She of course saw hypos as evil, but she saw humans who were weak, sinful, helpless, who prayed to dura for help all basically worthless and inatead of saving them shed end thier suffering.

The priest's dialogue implies she's under the impression that they're "tainted" by hypogeans, which is more consistent with her story. the video doesn't show why she would believe this though

It does show her distain for humanity in her og story and her ignoring of dura just read....its not difficult to determine her distain of humanity

While you can interpret it as her resenting humanity for being "cowardly" (as in relation to easily scared into becoming heretics or smth) the text is pretty explicit about her only targeting perceived heretics

before it came out my theory was that her awakened form was her "true" potential and hating humanity had just been holding her back

Well its not like they are worshipped...they would have to feed off an entire area of humans suffering from whar they are connected to....ezizh made a large village suffer for days weeks possibly months with endless nightmares and he was empowered by that negative energy
