There is a lot of reconning that has to happen, and it would be contrived.

Bantus was it's own human empire separate from the Lightbearer empire before it became the gb hq. Bantus had a different societal structure and values from the Lightbearers.

Bantus gb are: thoran, edwin, theowyn, grez, fane, treznor
Lightbearer gb are: izold, baden, oden, nara, silas (probably)

Anyone I haven't mentioned I don't have an exact pinpoint in the timeline or indication they're in one subfaction or the other.

Silvina is lb too, since she was around the same age as estrilda when she died.

by the way, notice how the stories of the characters and so on have gone from a simple "well, he was some kind of cool warrior / he was a guardian / she was an orphan" to full-fledged complex plots, where a very specific story is told, fully revealing the character, and a ton of content from above, which opens the veil of secrecy from the rest of the world.
it reminds me of dota, where at first the whole lore was sewn with white threads, and the connections between the characters were insofar as. and then the monkey king came out, and the lore magically began to transform into something with a clear line.

So now that we've almost finished the elemental strife storyline, I'm a bit sad they didn't take the opportunity to build on some of the previous pieces of lore centering around elemental imbalance (like the Balancer, though I suppose a storyline with an imbalance caused by the Graveborn's existence would've been a bit harder to tie of neatly). That being said, is there any specific part of the lore you'd like them to build on for the next round?

Like for example the time shenanigans to Orthros and Zolrath is one idea I've seen floating around here, and that'd be cool

Honas used the power of the elements to create the planet, but because of Lutos' intervention, the elements became unstable. that is, they are unstable from the moment the esperia was created. to smooth out the corners, he put a solaran furnace inside the planet, which gave birth to finches.
However, the guardians of the elements were created by Dura, at a time when the world was in chaos. it turns out that the creation of elementals is directly related to the fact that Maetria did not fulfill her duty.

In general you have 2, gb with a pact with Quaedam the necromancer who is standing in as the god of death, and gb who do not have a pact with Quaedam.

None of the tainted have a pact with Quaedam. The playable Tainted heroes are treznor and baden.

The blood ritual gb are vedan and kalene, and they get their power through the blood ritual and do not have a pact with Quaedam.

The gb that live in bantus serve Quaedam and have limited agency because of this, if any. That would be thoran, grez, edwin, silas, izold, theo, kelthur, ferael, niru, shemira, daimon. The pirates are also part of the army of bantus and include hodgkin, nara, desira, and torne. These gb are the enemies of every other faction including the subfaction of the Tainted.

You can break it down even further into the traditional mages like isabella vs alchemists like silas

When creating a believable gb character basically the first thing you decide on is if you want them to have a pact with Quaedam being where they get their power or if they are independent, whether they chose to become gb willingly or not. Having a pact will decide how much agency they have and who their enemies will be

What's going on so far with the lore?

So far we are at the festival

Last time pretty much as far as I remember it was Talene vs maetria. And maetria dies

So the elemental arc is over? What was it? From what I got in my head canon. Elementes of the world went crazy and started attacking people thud legendary warriors of each clan had to unite to kill em or put the back to rest

Speculation, who is next to get an awakened form next, forgive me if it has already been revealed:

I am assuming it will be a Wilder or a Mauler
I am not expecting it to be a celestial or hypogean since they seem to be least abundant. I don't think it will be a lightbearer because they already have two (Belinda and Thane), and the last one to have received an awakened form was Baden who was a graveborn.

It seems that it is older heros getting love, so I have 3 ideas for which hero is most likely to receive said love

• Safiya

Ulmas - is very important to Tasi, and Tasi has enemy connections to the hypogeans
Tasi - if her enemy has one, why not her
Numisu - is a very old character and is decently powerful
Skriath - very important to Brutus's lore/group
Safiya - isn't as old as Numisu, but still been around for a long while, that and she has a union banner

Like imagine Talene actually went along with her idea to destroy the human civilisation to bring back the finches however when it happened the finches weren’t as how they used to be I mean they randomly got pulled from the dead after at least 1000 years not everyone would be very happy about that thus starts some sort of outbreak where they can’t actually survive and the race ends the ending in this theoretical situation could be better but I forgot the part I had planned
