So basically to give a long stoey short to give her past and current events... maetria was born eons ago another elemental imbalance event happened back then...all of her clutch family and friends died around her and she didnt understood till she found out that it was a god that made the solarian furnace that empowered arcane birds into obsidian finches and thier job was to gather energy so when the elemental imbalance event happen the furnace would activate restoring order and killing off all obsidian finches and the cycle would restart.

As she was dying the hypo spirit in her host currently made a deal to allow her to live and figure out a way to restore her people. After the last the elementsl imbalance a hypo broke the furnace if I read her story right

Now she waitied for a new elemental imbalance to i guess sacrafice talene to the furnace to resurrect her people

Hence the disguise as the cute nerdy historian

To gather the runes to activate the furnace

And sacrafice talene

As shes very very powerful basically an Arch Obsidian finch

Basically exactly what I thought, except maybe killing Talene. Galvatron in the OG comics was a time traveling Unicron-infected(hypo basically) Megatron who's built to kill things and alter the past for his master. He's also crazy. In the IDW comics, he's just a zombie warrior dude from billions of years ago, who also hates Megatron for unrelated reasons. Either way, he had issues with his counterpart/buddy, and he's one of the more powerful enemies of the autobots. Don't remember if he wanted to kill Megatron or force every robot under his will though.

Not sure if this is just me reaching at nothing but the flowers for Edwin's design very much seem like a reference to a part in Theowyn's story where they mention that he would give her purple flowers after coming back from battles
The flowers that are part of Edwin's design also look like the same kind of flowers as the one Theowyn has on her little thorn crown too (I think it says somewhere that they are roses)
There isn't really much else the flowers could represent other than being a sort of homage to the fact that Edwin and Theowyn were related and/or it could also symbolize their familial bond
(ie: She talked very highly of him in her story while Edwin seemed to care more about her than Thoran in his story)
Additionally, the flowers could also represent the fact that he was adored by dignitaries for his military achievements (so says it in his story book) but I think the flowers being a reference to Theowyn being his sister is infinitely more interesting
(I'd love to hear others opinions on character designs as well, I find them to be quite interesting)

Yes it is indeed a very neat detail! I like how the character designers put genuine thought into their designs with details like this. They also have used flowers several times before with intentional symbolism (like the flower in AwBaden's beta design symbolizing hope, and the wisteria and lotus flowers surrounding Eorin and Solise in AwSolise's stained glass art).
With the rose being symbol of their close bond, there's also thorns in Theowyn's crown and Edwin's waist adornment. While her relationship to Edwin brought her a lot of joy, it also became a source of misery (longing for home when she was married, and agony at the betrayal), and perhaps the thorns are a way to symbolize it? What are your thoughts on that?

Then solise slowly and lazily floats down on a bubble while yawning creates a bubble of water around maetria and belinda all powerful like wanda from marvel swoops down engulfing maetria in fire.

That would be awesome!!!!

Talene finnally awakens remebering who she was and the power she has awakes with a burst of solarian fire surrounding her and engulfing the room lighting up a bunch of glyps and picturs all over the walls as she flies up and immediately charges maetria with her sword and clashes with her.
