I wouldn't worry about that. Mistakes are a part of the game. It is not very efficient to restart unless you made some really huge mistakes.

I am what people like to call "Lazy" so I am at like 9x power deficit which is pretty low for my chapter. My Ainz still does a bunch of damage, yes. Later on the really big hitters are the hp half thing + ults. Mortas is still great in Ainz because it gives flat damage buffs too and attack speed.

Saurus has been my primary carry and clutches most of my fights, I know I'm not supposed to focus on him too much this early on but I kept pulling him so thought fuck it... Thinking about resetting and mirael and putting the extra essence into saurus instead... Thoughts?

I'm a little stuck on progression that's why I'm wondering this, the amount if essence I need to upgrade has increased significantly so I'm gonna be doing a lot of waiting anyways

This game punishes suboptimal play early on - it's fine once you hit midgame if you don't care for campaign and just wanna build stuff you like, but screwing early game can potentially set you back either a month or several depending on the choice

Basically it's fine to build a fancy mansion - just make sure your foundations are solid

It certainly isn't the end of the world - I've seen some crazy shit in this channel. Yours is a minor mishap. Saurus isn't your worst choice - but all we're saying is don't spam this channel and realize you forgot to build the Heroes that'll carry you.

The reason you wanna make your early game as optimized and smooth as possible is cause the rewards in this game scale very heavily with progress. The faster you can progress, the more rewards you can get. The more rewards you get, the faster you can build that Saurus you like so much. Y'know?

That's a confusing combination of words but I'm pretty sure Ur right about the wishlist

What are fodders you mean the low tier units? I have a few ascended so I can ascend the higher ones later

A tier heroes are ascended tier heroes. aka the purple cards u get from tavern or the cards you wishlisted in tavern
L tier heroes(aka fodders) are the blue cards u get(mirael hogan silvana etc)

you can reset any investments right now so it's no worries. you want to level your fodders(even if u dont use them) to bypass the level cap of the main heroes that youre gonna use

yes. put main heroes in crystal. normally they have lv cap of 100 or 120 but using fodders allow them to go up to 160

From what you managed to figure out on your own you made some common but fixable mistakes

Namely Ascending everything to L - even the Heroes you don't use or can't use. And using Shemira and Lucius - I assume you looked up an extremely outdated guide or something

Well, looking at the guide won't help too much since you made it past the "tutorial" stage

You compensated for Lucius and Shemira by actually doing Daimon and Oden, and you even had Brutus and Lyca, so it's not as bad as I first thought

You have like 4 out of the 5 Heroes I'd highly recommend for progressing, the one thing you might lack is crowd control. I'm getting ahead of myself tho, @mystic prairie I'd recommend checking the pinned image guide for beginners in #classic-questions so you can cross-check your Tavern wishlist with it

So I’m almost on day 4. Been pretty luck with the graveborn hero’s. I read the guides and now know I should have been using the fodder hero’s to max out other heroes. (Working on that) what formation should I be using? I using the daimon and thoran in front. Silas, Feral, and Oden in the rear? My question is, the guides are saying 1 tank 1 carry and 1 support. I just beat 9-4 with my current and on 109 for kings tower but it’s a struggle to progress further. Any advice?

He gets good later on with investment. If u have eironn u should put him opposite Isabella cos her ult kills ur whole team so u need some way to block her.

Nonetheless try using daimon he’s good even at E, brutus only has 3 seconds of immunity at that level so u could swap him out
