Is that a copied comp? What artifacts do you have? What gear do you have on Thoran? Did you make sure Athalia removes Mehira bats with her dive? Does Thoran consistently get his ults off and have you seen him kill everyone at least once? Those are the questions I would ask myself first.

Yes this a comp I copied off of afk helper. I have call on everyone but skriath who i have duras blade on. I have t 2 5star weapon and boots then elite chestpiece and mythic helmet. I see 3 circles above mehiras head after athalia dives through her so I think so. No thoran does not get his ult off he mostly dies before that happens

See, the bats really need to come off, I think Mehira is dodging the dive so she still gets the bats. You can't thoran cheese a mehira if she still has those. Also did you consider giving everyone else call other than Thoran? Then Thoran can use Eye or Blade for more crit and crit damage.

So Athalia needs at least weapon and helm I think for the accuracy

I don't think you need it. You just need Athalia to have enough accuracy to actually hit the Mehira to cancel the bats.

Daimon-Talene2 combo is pretty deadly early on. You have more than double power deficit which is already quite high for early game, you might have to afk a little bit for level. If not, you can just experiment with supports like Arden or different frontliners. Or just more retries.

So this might be a very similar thing to the discussion above. That Mehira is the thing that is most likely carrying the team. If you remove either Brutus or Thoran, put Rowan frontline and then but Nara in the back middle slot with call and some gear I think you should be able to pretty efficiently counter that Mehira. I can't guarantee that it will work but that's the first thing I would try.

Yeah that’s what I mean. It would make teambuilding easier, but reduce your power. I saw some people do it last time but not sure how viable it is with no extra juice from spending since ur f2p. The other option would be to switch sorc to cele, keep the Daimon team and then get creative. Most likely the 2 other teams will have to use Kren, Lucretia and Raku to carry along with supportive heroes.

Depending on how good those heroes are, if you switch sorc to cele you could use Grez-Mishka-Fera-Silas-Hodg to save Daimon for another comp. I use this comp personally.

Yes daimon stacks stats with his ult and gets a shield so the longer he is in the fight the stronger he gets. And also brutus is great for frontline stall and rowan and tasi are really great with him too

2. most daimon comps end up with just daimon survivng, most heroes in daimon comp are to support him - for example, ferael stuns intially and later on his signature debuffs enemies as well. oden, portals enemies giving daimon time to ramp up

I've been trying to upgrade Daimon to mythic+, but I don’t have any legendary heroes for fodder, so I've been wondering if I could use my ascended heroes to upgrade him. I've heard that daimon is one of the best heroes, but he worth it, or should I just wait for more legendaries

no. dont u ever use 4skill heroes to ascend. only fodder

and see, u were extremely impatient with ur fodder- if u never upgraded desira, u couldve upgraded daimon - you didnt even need her 20 at all, nor were you level capped

It's still wrong, wasting fodder on making stuff Legendary would cripple your progress cause L is a useless Ascension tier

Making them legendary still requires fodder while not increasing their stats by a meaningful amount. Talene and Astar are your carries but you need someone who can be a proper damage carry. Preferably Daimon but there are other heroes too.

You need a lot of it so the usual strategy is to use fodder heroes as your team until lvl 160 and then switch over to ascended heroes. That way the transition is very smooth.

I'm gonna be honest the reason people haven't responded is most likely that there isn't much to work with. You seem to be doing everything just fine. You can always experiment with different frontliners or see if someone different can replace Tasi for this one. You can also try different positioning.

There is probably a magic solution to this that will make you clear it in multiple tries but you are close to 2x power deficit which is already pretty good for your heroes. This is the usual deficit you should expect to push at this stage so it is ok to afk a little bit too. Usually when I see higher deficits than this people are using Talene2.

Don't worry about it too much. It really evens out for everyone. There is rng later on too but you can achieve everything you want mostly at the same time as someone else who is as old as you.

All new players make some unoptimal choices, you should have seen my acc when I started. You just can't put extreme expectations on yourself and be mad at yourself if you don't get them. Just try to play and learn in the progress. No matter what you do you will get out of early game fairly fast.

It is not based on chance, it is based on how long you afk in a stage. If you pass a stage the time waited is converted in to dropchance for gear.
