daimon is going to be your friend: he will easily solo carry you through several stages and chapters. I would recommend maxing him out as much as you can for now, no matter th elevel of your other heroes because he can definitely solo carry. Get him maxed out - if you can get all your other heroes to 100 and get him to 120 that's fine, otherwise, just get him to the highest level possible. You're gonna use rowan later on when he has his signature item but rn I'd say he's kinda useless ngl. Use lyca, tasi, and fereal too they're decent supports that can help especially with tasi's banish

At this point WuKong has become uesless. Since you have Daimon he is a superior carry and WuKong isn't even a viable tank ngl unless he's at a higher level. Maybe try the new hero in your formation for now just cuz he's at legendary and has levels. Otherwise, you may wanna try out Morrow, the evil looking lightbearer guy

Nah, if you want control you can try and get Raku in as one of his attacks has some Cc and he offers viable damage. However, Eironn could work if you put him in position 4 and combined with lyca, he'll suck opponents into Daimon, who can then just demolish them

For early game heroes, fodder heroes are the easiest to max their ascension, and bring the crystal level to level 160.

Take this in consideration: 5 fodder L+ heroes, are much easier to get than 5 L+ ascended typed heroes, each needing 4 copies of the ascended hero and fodder

Fodder type heroes at a higher ascension, and frankly a higher level, will do significantly more.

To extend past beginning game, Saurus is almost at an unusable stage of campaign. The only exception is if you're pushing at an offensively low deficit.

yeah, been swapping brutus and talene (with blade) in and out periodically, both get me pretty consistent warps, (9/10 times with a good warp maybe), brutus gets thoran to kill everyone except flora much more consistently but nothing gets him to kill flora after she drops

the mistakes I in comps I see are usually something like an dps or cc mistake. In your case you have both, and you're using your optimal team. Can't give you a team change on this one but when you're pushing hard rng can come into play. I would just say to try and rng it for a little while and if it doesn't work just give it some time and gain a few levels

You can start by never getting a hero to leg+ unless you cam get them directly to leg+ to save food
If you can hco for oden go for it he a beast frm the start to the end of the game

I would use Satrana instead of Skirath. She's quite tanky and does decent damage in the mauler tower. You can also put her in the front line if tidus dies to quickly

I guess Isabella shreds you. If you put Eironn on Lycas position this should help. Rowan in the middle so that Daimon can also get potions. Estrilda is a weird choice I would try replacing her with Joker (opposite of a graveborn).
An alternative would be using Ainz, Rowan, Lyca + 2 frontline tanks e.g. Thoran, Brutus, Daimon (if he lives long enough).
What I would do is looking at formations that won the stage. That's often very helpful.

At least in fabled it is Raku instead of Saurus, but fabled meta is sometimes different from other floors. If that team is what your ladder rank 1 uses then it is most likely the best one.

Build up Saveas and get him to L+ and dump XP into him.
He’ll carry you rather far very easily with not much investment or difficulty to build up, and when you’re past the point of him being useful his just plain jane fodder.
And try only level 5 hours using XP, the rest you can use the crystal to sync them up without spending any XP.

And don’t ascend a hero to Legendary you can’t immediately turn into L+, you can end up stalling yourself out very easily doing that @terse gate

@tall pewter I think u need more general beginner support rather than help on a specific stage.

First tip is to make wu kong 20 levels higher than everyone and keep him overlevelled until he is lvl 100 (you will replace him after, so don't ascend him past e). A carry is better than leveling everyone equally.

Check the pins in #classic-questions and you will find lots of other tips.
