No problem, remember that even though the A tier heroes seem better for having more skills, more often than not they need their Si and/or Furniture (unlocked at mythic and ascended respectively) to work well.

Some like brutus, lyca and nara already do a great job at Elite

You probably should put your brutus in the crystal to tank for you. Daimon isn't that much of a tank as he is of a carry/mage, of which you have him and Mirial. Find one you like and substitute Brutus in and put him in the front. You have him at Legendary so good investment

Just putting in mirael for Oden should help significantly, some levels you'll need a better frontline, other levels you'll need nara, it varies a lot stage to stage

At your level just experimenting with reasonable things is what'll help you push

some basic daimon ideas:

• he likes stall, cc, and sustain. all of these allow him the time to ramp.
• he plays more like a mage than a tank and thus is often placed backline.
• blood shield ramps to enemies, so he can push strong deficits.
• that said, try brutus thoran daimon rowan lyca. talene is a reasonable sub for thoran as well.

Eluard will drop off, he is pretty good early game, but not as a tank. He's tanking well because you aren't at a level deficit yet, once you get to those deficits, he won't work as a tank, only as a support.

you need to make a lot of changes, start focusing the non elite heroes and make them legendary+ mirael, golus, silvina, arden and hogan and only level up these 5 heroes, then you should put thoran, rowan, rosaline, and some other supports in crystal, use mirael as your main carry until level 160, level her as high as you can and then level the others when the game tells you that you cant level her anymore. good team would be thoran, mirael, rosaline, arden +1 lb prolly

You're not using people on your pentagram. The people with the higher levels will carry much better than your level 111s. Try to fit in your legendary. That's all I can do. I still relatively new, but you should use your carry champ

you should read the pinned guides in #classic-questions, invest in your L tier heroes ( the ones with 3 skills) up to L+, they'll carry you to lvl160

She used to be the go to carry, that's why a lot of people still use/advice others to use her, however there are much better carry options, the beginner guides on #classic-questions go in depth about this, if you're interested in reading them to be more up to date.
Also, not sure about your progression but most likely if you invest in someone like Daimon you'd be doing a lot better

You can put him on the crystal, he should do okay. You should level mirael to 160, she's your carry and that'll boost your progression a bit
If you get enough dust to get mirael past 140 by resetting niru to lvl120, I recommend you doing it

you will focus on one team up until like chapter 31+ if you want optimal progression. if you don't care about that and just want to have fun, you can do whatever

yeah then you can do whatever you want as long as you're enjoying it. if you want "optimal" teams for progression some time later, feel free to check out the pins in #classic-questions and the like. don't feel forced to though, it's a game after all.
as to your question about tanks, if you're pushing big level deficits (say your team is level 300 to the enemy team level 450), stat tanks (lucius/ogi/hogan/etc) become useless and you want immunity tanks (alna/brutus/hendrik) instead. in ch 11 you can still be using L+ tier heroes though (ogi)

Are you keeping mirael 20-40 levels above the rest?
Sometimes you'll need double tank frontline, sometimes you'll need more cc, or targeted cc like nara, sometimes healers, depends on what you have on your crystal really

Also don't forget it's an afk game, at some point you'll be stuck and the best thing you can do is wait for a while

early on you can get a long way just retrying enough or learning whats ruining you, i.e. vedan going 'bat mode' and you have auto mode for ults, and mirael just misses him, so you have to make sure to turn auto off till he stops bats, then do it, or try kill him first with a nara, stuff like that, its fun, like a puzzle

The second ult never happens, he gets probably 90% of the requried energy but dies before having it filled up
