For what to do right now, I think you have to wait and see what you get 4 copies of, because to progress you will need to ascend heroes to mythic, it looks like you got a little unlucky. Are you scrolling LB btw? That's considered the weakest faction unless you are doing it to try to get Rowan. I would also think carefully about whether you want to keep going with Lucius or use him as fodder as many think he is only get really early game. If you go past L+ on him you can't fodder him. But yeah, hope for 4 daimon until you hit 160.

And the reason why scrolling for LB kind of sucks is because they don't have a lot of good heroes and they accumulate fodder at a higher rate naturally anyways.

The best graveborn unit for pushing campaign is daimon. He should be on your wishlist. Other units on your wishlist should be thoran, oden, fareal and the last one should be nara for one copy. Once you have one copy of nara replace her with either grezhul, izold or silas

Why only one copy of Nara?

@silk geode Because you want her to hook backline enemies and cc them. She is a good unit and you can build her if you like but she if effective with a single copy. This is just resource optimisation. Other characters in the graveborn faction are great when you unlock their si and furniture. You will need 4 copies of the hero to get them to mythic for their si. You will need 4 more copies (8 total) to ascend the hero for their furniture. Once you have 8 copies of the same hero take them off your wishlist and build the next hero.

Don't replace gwyneth yet. You should not use resources to focus lightbearers. If you were using faction scrolls to summon light bearers stop doing this. However on standard summons if you continue to get lightbeares you can continue to use them. You could finish gwyn in the challenger store but I can't recommend this. I think you only have 2 copies yes?

Izold is a carry unit. He isn't a tank but he can snowball to the point where he is unkillable with proper investment and support. He isn't like a brutus or thoran who you can just slap anywhere to tank hits. Best tanks in the graveborn faction are thoran and grezhul.

I don't think so. When people talk about izold being good they mean when he has si30 and 9/9 furniture which you are a long way from building. Apparently he is good early, falls of mid game (you are in early game) and he becomes strong late game. Personally I haven't built focused izold yet because in my opinion I will not be needing him for a while (I am on chapter 23). You really want a daimon at mythic.

What I am recommending is long term goals. You should be planning for future chapters so you don't get hard stuck due to level cap or due to having bad units. Gwyn is still useful for now. It's just a daimon with similar investment will carry you further through the campaign. But remember what i said about ascending fodder heroes so you don't get soft locked.

You don't want to get to late game with shit units because you will be hard stuck for months until you can summon better units.

No you want to make fodder heroes legendary+ because you get more copies of them. You have 5 fodder heroes at L+ so you can level them to 160 so you maximise your levels while you wait for enough copies of ascended tier heroes so you can ascend your heroes to mythic. People recommend this so you don't get soft locked due to level cap. You need alot of fodder to get your heroes to ascended. Taking all your ascended tier units to legendary + is a waste of fodder because you make have to wait for months until you pull enough copies to take your heroes to mythic

And how should I use the resonating crystal?

You put your ascended tier heroes that you are currently using on the Crystal. So in your case heroes such as gwyn should be on the crystal. You can experiment with the crystal as you can swap a hero out at any point (with a 24 hour cooldown on that slot). But I would recommend only placing one or two carry units on there. Most units on the crystal should be units to help enable your Carries. Units like nara and tasi should be on the crystal.

Also I remember you having a legendary + Lucian. You can keep him leveled as normal. He won't soft lock you progress as he can be leveled to 160 (same as fodder tier units).

Maybe if you go for a graveborn layout try and use Thoran? I think he's a pretty good tank and his regen makes sure he can soak up a lot of the damage while your Fawkes or maybe even Gwen is doing damage

The advice I have given you is long term goals. Don't immediately ascend your Daimon, this game requires patience. Gywn and Lucian are still great characters at your current level. They are also worth buidling for LB tower. My advice is to optimise your resource allocation so you can progress through the game effectively. If you keep on playing this game, you dont want to be stuck with a full LB lineup when you enter the late game. If you stuck on a stage right now you probably need to go afk and get more resources. You cannot rush through this game unless you want to part with alot of £££.

Your main goal is to get 5 heroes to ascended and level 240 so you can level up your resonating crystal shrine indefinitely. So this will usually end up being 1 heroes from each faction and 2 from the faction you are focusing. You need alot of fodder to do this which is why you shouldn't take every ascended tier hero you own to legendary.

With that box, that lineup looks about as good as it gets against that stage, you've tried with Thoran instead of Brutus I assume? Talene instead of him has occasionally somehow worked for me as well, or Alna if you have her

Switching around positions might help too, experimenting with it. You're pushing at a pretty solid deficiency though, so it's not impossible you've hit a wall there

Key on that stage is taking out Isabella before she gets the chance to use her ultimate. I don't see Nara in your box, but if you've still got the hero choice chest with her in it, take her there, and put her opposite of Isabella so she joinks her into your team, letting you kill her faster

You should take a look at the pinned beginner guides in the #classic-questions channel as well, it has a lot of tips on what to build, and how to use your resources in the earlygame. You've fallen into the most common beginner trap of ascending too many units to L, you'll need to start working at your fodder units in order to reliable get all the way up to level 160 without being levelcapped

He's absolutely worth getting in the long term, but not that early on. Lucius falls off very hard in the midgame, but Arthur is a lategame powerhouse of a tank

hehe, nah that's a perfectly fine way to play the game, going for efficiency and optimal picks isn't the only correct way to play it

I don't actually have super high expectations of it working, but you could try taking out Gwyneth and adding Cecilia instead, and placing Cecilia opposite of Isabella, forcing more damage on her as fast as possible

One of the more noteworth tips from the beginner guides is that you should generally only use one carry in your team, and the rest of the units should support and enable it. Then you overlevel your carry unit 20-40 levels ahead of the rest, so that they can do as much damage as possible

In your case, Shemira is a very solid alternative as your main carry in the short run, she works very well in the earlygame and a while into the midgame, and starts falling off fast when you get to around chapter 20

Not necessarily immediately, make sure you actually have them ascended enough so that you actually can level them up first. You're doing it mainly because it guarantees you to be able to level all the way to 160, if you try to focus on any elite tier units instead, you're not guaranteed to be able to get all the copies of them you need

Mirael and Arden are very strong though, so you will likely end up using them quite a lot

The other three are mostly fodder, Hogan can be an ok tank, and Saveas can be a very good second carry, or even replacement carry over Mirael sometimes, but you often want to support Mirael and Arden with other elite tier units that are placed on the crystal

Stop making so many legendaries. Wait until you have enough fodder to ascend. If you’re really desperate get them to mythic or mythic + but right now you’re halting progress significantly. I usually have at least 2 L+ heroes on each faction before ascending as well as 2 E+ copies of the hero you want to ascend, maybe even 3. You need to think more long term for your heroes rather than short term.

Your levels are ascension capped and its easier to get more copies of fodder heroes thats why you do it that way

What I mean by that is, getting all your characters to their highest tier. You do this by collecting legendary + characters to use as fodder as well as getting elite + copies of the heroes you want is well as elite + heroes that aren’t ascended heroes. Ascended heroes should never be used as fodder unless it’s a copy of the hero. Legendary + heroes such as Vedan, Golus or Hogan. If you go to the heroes tap and click portraits, you’ll see which are classified as legendary tier and ascended tier. If you need more clarification, look in the pinned messages of the #classic-questions section of the server. Hope that helps.

Lyca in back, Daimon in front. Also put Wu Kong on crystal, he’s amazing early on. Also since you’re so early on put your main team on crystal. You need to work fodder. Ascend your legend tier heroes to legend + and keep your ascended tier heroes on crystal. Don’t take them off crystal until they can reach higher levels then your L+ heroes. Later on, you will use your L+ heroes as fodder to ascend your ascended heroes as well as elite + legendary heroes. Never use ascended tier heroes as fodder unless it’s a copy. If don’t know what I’m talking about, go to heroes, then portraits and it will show you which heroes are ascended heroes and which are legendary. Characters like Rowan and Shemira are ascended. Characters like Hogan and Golus are legendary. If you need more clarification look in the pinned messages of the #classic-questions channel. Hope that helps.

That’s because the enemy team has much more damage then you. This isn’t a bad start, but as I mentioned before you need to work fodder. Do other modes and build up your team. I’ve had to do this many times.

Not too sure, try this Lyca Albedo Fearel Rowan Ainz, your fearel is only E+, but his purpose is there to get the fear off for your heroes to get some damage in, so make sure he has either no weapon on or an L weapon on to get rid of the mythic weapon buff.
