You only need brutus for his invincibility, which an e copy can pretty much do. Shem is just not that good anymore now that Daimon is available. With regards to your question on what are you doing wrong, it is your ascension priorities. You're stuck with L copies of Shem, Nem, Thoran and will lvl capped at 140

@tepid sequoia you're a bit under leveled. Generally people are around level 311 (before furnitures) and level 305 (after furnitures). That's probably the biggest issues here. But the other thing is having Eironn complex with as many SI 30 heroes in it as you can (Eironn/Tasi/Lyca/Rowan/Ferael)

Now with 9/9, SI 30 heroes, you can do wonders. Or even 3/9 sometimes, depending on how OP their furniture is.

Probably. But put Rowan back row, he is a dodge tank but he can die. Put Dura's Call on Ainz & Rowan, keep Lyca and put Brutus, Alna front

1. Wu Kong is useless after lvl 100, and Nemora is not a good healer. From Lab Store buy Arthur.
2. Stop ascending heros to L if you can't ascend to L+

I suggest to make Daimon your carrier since Belinda will fall off later. Use Talene as a healer since she and Silas are the best healers early-game, later switch to Rowan. Use Lucius and Brutus as tanks and a Tasi back row
