if you had allocated your rss better like I'm explaining, mirael will be lvl 120, and she will win fights if u throw other units in crystal.
ex: hogan mirael lyca rowan arden works rly well. lyca and rowan would be in crystal, but not in pentagram

Thoran and Saurus is the best future options in your card, but they need to be atleast M and take time to be good. Saurus is useful for various events(guildhunt), making your daily reward higher.
Currently, Belinda or Mirael is the best.
There is plenty of Izabella(carry) in your cards, forget her. You could fodder her but the best usage will be dimentional heroes link.
If you had gwyneth(carry), that would be the best option in the overall afk life, having good synergies with rowan.

First, ascend all your heros from Rare to Elite+, there should be an auto-ascend button in the right bottom corner of the temple of ascension. Also use the codes, they can give a huge adventage (check Volkin's video with all codes).

make sure your wishlist is fine . you dont need Ulmus and Kaz for example

raise one L+ fodder of each faction and collect more copies of ascended tier heroes
being stuck bc of missing copies is the worst in this game
be patient and collect 8 copies ( 4 elite + ) , then you put fodder into the ones you can ascend for sure
L+ is capped at LV 160
make sure your wishlist looks fine so you get good heroes instead of heroes who fall off quickly/ are only niche use
only change your wishlist after you have 8 copies of one of them/ never wishlist fodder

you ony level 5 heroes ( put ressources in ) the ones with your highest ascension tier
all other are in the crystal spots
so sometimes you will reset one hero ( out of the 5 ) costs 20 diamonds
and level another who has a higher ascension tier to break through level caps
