Beginner TODO-List

1. Read and follow =wishlist
2. Level roster following the bottom left of =guide
3. Push as far as you can using some basic setup of =campaign
4. As soon as GG unlocks (ch6), go to Northzone, set 3 blue totems and run 7 flight (blue wings collection) runs. Read Nino's guide in =colls for more info on how to do this.
5. Befriend someone who has a 409e60 awthalia (look for red/shiny stars, a crown and the 2 red diamonds under the faction icon) and merc it, get a mentor if possible
6. Use said merc to finish all of PoT content, using afkguide.net for guides
7. Finish all candy crush and vampire survivors content (either manually or just spam request help)
8. Summon everything with scrolls and diamonds on 10x pull, use faction scrolls on GB (spend the 300 diamonds if it's not on GB)
9. Use ivan + randle or whatever carry you have and push as far as they can, put the highest ATK flight they have on Ivan and Randle. If you don't have ivan or randle by ch12 and have completed all of the above, use your hero choice chest from ch12 on ivan > randle. If you have both, save the chest.
10. AFK
11. Read the rest of =guide as reading material whilst you wait
12. Repeat steps 8-10 until they hit ch31

GB = Graveborn

I'm currently running the Ivan / Mira / Randle combo with Lyca (sometimes swapped to Nara for prio targets) AShem (sometimes swapped to Atheus).
Which characters gear should I strengthen first. I was thinking Mira, because Randle scales well off of others stats, but not 100% sure

The main meta comps use Randle. Without at least one copy you will probably struggle through the early game. Even if you get past the first couple chapters, it will slow down quickly

the game is highly competitive in modes called rgms (resource generating modes). If you do well early on, you will earn more rewards resulting in a stronger account. With the earned rewards, you'll do better and better continually over those who were slower resulting in a far weaker account for those who are not optimized.

It's a game, but not necessarily a casual game.

2. Level roster following the bottom left of =guide
3. Push as far as you can using some basic setup of =campaign
4. As soon as GG unlocks (ch6), go to Northzone, set 3 blue totems and run 7 flight (blue wings collection) runs. Read Nino's guide in =colls for more info on how to do this.
5. Befriend someone who has a 409e60 awthalia (look for red/shiny stars, a crown and the 2 red diamonds under the faction icon) and merc it, get a mentor if possible
6. Use said merc to finish all of PoT content, using afkguide.net for guides
7. Finish all candy crush and vampire survivors content (either manually or just spam request help)
8. Summon everything with scrolls and diamonds on 10x pull, use faction scrolls on GB (spend the 300 diamonds if it's not on GB)
9. Use ivan + randle or whatever carry you have and push as far as they can, put the highest ATK flight they have on Ivan and Randle. If you don't have ivan or randle by ch12 and have completed all of the above, use your hero choice chest from ch12 on ivan > randle. If you have both, save the chest.
10. AFK
11. Read the rest of =guide as reading material whilst you wait
12. Repeat steps 8-10 until they hit ch31

You use fodders because you can ascend them to L+ without too much investment (they are L+ at max).
You ascend non-fodder heroes once you get 8 copies (and have 2 L+ fodder & 2 E+ fodder) so that you get all the way to ascended which is normally the big breakpoint for heroes.

my best recommendation would be to read others questions in the channel and do your best to try and piece it out together.
from your questions, it sounds like you haven't played enough yet to really understand (which is totally fine). just slowly play through it and as you learn, itll make more and more sense :)

I went back to my old account because on the new one, when I reached stage 30 where two teams are needed, the gap was so huge that it will take a long time before I can get past it. On this old account, Im having big difficulties with expeditions 😂 I have currently completed 3 legendary epics, but it was a real struggle. Right now Im in Lucius’s epic and I cant even get past the first mob 😂 Could you advise me on what I could put together from this team? In expeditions, I can use 1 borrowed hero. Also I have Audrae/Lucretia/Saurus as coming back reward which I can combine with borrowed hero too

formation kinda doesn't matter because it's an attackers meta anyways

they'll do strongest vs your second strongest and their second strongest against your weakest

it's also why it's best to stack 2 and sacrifice 1 but in the end you'll get kicked down repeatedly anyways

Beginner TODO-List

1. Read and follow =wishlist
2. Level roster following the bottom left of =guide
3. Push as far as you can using some basic setup of =campaign
4. As soon as GG unlocks (ch6), go to Northzone, set 3 blue totems and run 7 flight (blue wings collection) runs. Read Nino's guide in =colls for more info on how to do this.
5. Befriend someone who has a 409e60 awthalia (look for red/shiny stars, a crown and the 2 red diamonds under the faction icon) and merc it, get a mentor if possible
6. Use said merc to finish all of PoT content, using afkguide.net for guides
7. Finish all candy crush and vampire survivors content (either manually or just spam request help)
8. Summon everything with scrolls and diamonds on 10x pull, use faction scrolls on GB (spend the 300 diamonds if it's not on GB)
9. Use ivan + randle or whatever carry you have and push as far as they can, put the highest ATK flight they have on Ivan and Randle. If you don't have ivan or randle by ch12 and have completed all of the above, use your hero choice chest from ch12 on ivan > randle. If you have both, save the chest.
10. AFK
11. Read the rest of =guide as reading material whilst you wait
12. Repeat steps 8-10 until they hit ch31

lady simona is really nice with ashemira if you get her to 20330, but you will stop using her mostly after like 6-8 months

mira is a more meta hero right now also with a similar requirement but i’m not sure how much she does at 0 investment

i’d probably do lady simona because she gives energy and that’s a good gimmick for campaign

and it’s fun
