read the guide and never ascend heroes to L ro L+ unless they are fodders. Talking about ur Simona....
E+ Randle would do much better there so no point ascending Simona for Rem.
also, Simona is graveborn so that could mess up ur GB Fodders and become behind on ascending Randle/Ivan which are the 2 prio GB to ascend

Rem is one of the better Dimensionals, so you should link her to the highest ranking hero that you rarely/never use. Not one of the rare heroes though, since you should be using those for fodder fairly frequently. Personally I would recommend taking out either Nara or Randle for her, but you can experiment with whatever works best for you

Just keep doing Peaks of time and all the other modes whenever they unlock. You can basically get to chapter 31 with non stop playing with decent randle ivan rng

Build up fodder for your Randle and Ivan (you can get some graveborn fodder from the graveborn tower), prioritize AShemira because she will help you
The comp I use is AShem, Atheus, Ivan, Randle, Jerome (but you can swap for any support such as Lyca or Palmer)

Hey just wanted to know a little more info abt ascension tiers. So I was recommended yesterday to try to field the graveborn team in the first image but since then, I was able to get mythic atheus. Also, I do hear that randle is really good but I also have invested in rem already and shes connected to my L tier gavus. How much better is an L tier char compared to a E tier char? Should I make any adjustments to the suggested lineup to use my M tier atheus and/or L tier rem? How good does a character's kit need to be to warrant using a lower tier char with a better kit over a higher tier char with an "inferior" kit?

the breakpoints for heroes usually lie at either Mythic, for signature item, Ascended for furniture, and 1 star for engraving, so those are the ones you should look out for. A bad L hero shouldn’t be better than a good E hero. Also good that you got rem, but make sure to get randle too, both are very important

randle and ivan together will carry you for now, they are by far the best choice

use heroes like nara, lyca, numisu when you have them

and every chance you get make sure to get more ivan’s and randles, use all your diamonds on pulls to increase chances

If the other heroes are at elite/elite+ then your fodders have an advantage being able to quickly ascend to Legendary+ and without consuming any valuable resources, increasing your level cap to a max of 160 as opposed to elites' 120
You need 5 L+ fodder heroes in the resonating crystal such that any strong elite hero you want levelled up would be placed in one of the slots below the 5 heroes, matching their level with your L+ dudes, and that's how you get to level them up
Right until you have at least 8 copies of your elites and enough fodder to send them straight to Ascended, and you'll also need 5 of those to increase the level for all those who follow

Randle is basically just bursting down people by you just placing him there once you unlock all his skill. He can aoe burst, summon snake for tanking damage, and restore his HP back to full on his own. You pair him with Ivan for a window when his HP restore is on cd for survival. The rest of the unit in his team can just be random unit or Whoran and AWShem, you can even use 3 graveborn lvl 1 for the rest of the unit since when they died, randle got buffed.

I've tried looking for beginner guides but they are all talking about ascending stuff and S30 stuff lol

1. Ascend 5 fodders from each factions to L+, 2 from lightbearers, 1 from mauler, graveborn, wilder.

This is to bypass the level cap from level 100 to 160, getting copies in the early game is kind of hard, especially if you're a free to play player.

Yes

You can't get Ivan and randle + others (support/tank) to 160 if you have no copies

Your formation should be 1 carry/DPS (the core of your lineup), and 3 support, 1 tank. Put your carry and tank in the front.

Randle can wipe the opposition team in campaign in seconds, and ivan can buff him and give him shields equal to 2000% of his atk, yes that's a lot of shield, basically making the already OP randle unbeatable.
