Faction buff is usually something that can be ignored since fielding better hero's is more important. Good future swaps are Palmer-> Nara/Lyca and gorren into brutus/Ashem. That is basically a lineup that can get you to chapter 31

im not personally a huge fan of using just one or 2 copies of awakened heroes unless its ezizh talene or belinda and zohra needs a lot of investment to work afaik, i suggest not investing in lucius much further than this, eorin is alkright early game but dont overinvest (e60 isnt necessary)

Team wise best you can use rn is most likely
Ivan randle Atheus Rowan + flex
Flex includ Nara, Brutus, Lyca, Ashem would be best

Also whenever you are stuck try to do all other modes that give a lot of resources early. Such as Peaks of time, Tower, Candy crush, the pve Mode.

No, you don't need Ascended hero's to push to chapter 31. Just by ascending hero's early you just hurt yourself. Since you are not guaranteed to get more copies of that hero and the fodder might be better used elsewhere
