Looks good. You can switch their places around but Rem always stays in the back. You can also just click 'Formations' in bottom right of the battle screen and copy/use other players formation

Idk what your current teams look like so i'll just suggest what you can use in Campaign.

1. Brutus, Ashem (front) Rem, Shuna, Lib (back) - Your current Rem team might be better so dont use this if it is.

2. Atheus, Thoran (front) Ivan, Hildwin, Tamrus (back) - Make sure Ivan possesses/ults Hildwin here.

3. 2 tanks up front, Liberta (si30), Mehira and 1 energy support (Rowan, Lyca)/ Lucilla - This is the libcharm comp, you can use it when you get to ch33-34.

Baits are the ones you use to summon for Beasts - You can focus on them when you finish all the si30s I said above this message. You want those 3 SI30 before Baits cos it'll help you a lot more, though it'll set you back by alot (if you're in a fairly new server - doesnt matter if you're in an old server)

Legendary unlocks nothing at all and uses fodder you could've used in better places, going to legendary is a small increase in stats but you could just use fodder characters to push elites past 120 regardless

Whereas mythic unlocks sig items and ascended unlocks furniture and engraving, so you have a much bigger boost

1. Having a hero at L vs E+ or E has no meaningful impact on gameplay
2. Fodder will be your main bottleneck to getting the 4f people you want ascended, not copies. It may seem like it's copies now, it's not, it's fodder. Spreading it around improving your roster in negligible ways makes that bottleneck even more of an issue

Personally I don't have an issue with making M heroes as long as there's a plan to invest into the sig, there's a good few L heroes there tho but it genuinely depends on their whole box, if for some reason they have excessive food amounts they could keep it, especially like you said because it's very early, Lucretia is concerning but they could always keep that for a hero swap whenever we get one again

Otherwise they could reroll and just follow the rem merc push, get to about the same place within 2/3 days

The first 15 chapters or so are pretty irrelevant with whatever you pull, you kinda just use whatever you get until you unlock the garrison feature and then you grab rem to carry

Rerolling for Abel specifically simply isn't worth it, just been slowly falling out of meta now and most likely won't be seen used a lot anymore

This means there is no reason to get a hero to legendary, as it unlocks no source of power (like mythic where you unlock sig items) or L+ (level 160 soft cap)

However the "food" (fodder heroes) you used to make those random L tier heroes now (Lucius, Belinda etc etc) you won't get back

Which will become more important later when you start getting more copies of characters you actually WANT to push to mythic and above

My only L+ are fodder characters, not counting rem (she's dimensional linked to a fodder) and alucius (starts off as L because woke)

As you can see you can easily push chapters with elite heroes and food heroes

@mellow marsh does all that answer what seuphy meant with their "criticism". They were referring to your "shiny box" meaning a lot of legendary characters that aren't helping you but instead hurting your account because they've used up resources you won't be able to get back

oh yeah.. one other 'carry' you can use is Hildwin. I found him better than Rem in chapters 16-22. He worked better at lv140 than my Rem who was lv160 - with the right team ofcourse. He might work better than Aluc?? Idk though, you can try him out if you dont care about DIs in that account.

I stopped using him at ch23 cos Rem just carried but I think hes still viable in ch23+

yeaa best she can do is keep them alive for 0.1 more seconds. Its still really helpful though. I prefer her more than Thoran and Atheus cos that variation of Rem comp is alot more bursty with a little survivability cos of AShem cheat death

also having ivan backline feels like it fails more than it succeeds, at least during my ch20 push, the lack of energy he generates sometimes caused him to not ult fast enough which meant failed stages

oh thats not a problem with Brut and Ashem frontline. They both get damaged down to 1 hp and they activate their cheat death so they live for a couple more seconds while Ivan gets enough energy in 3 seconds or at 1:27. Its Atheus who can mess up Ivan energy gain from what I've seen

Naroko is better suited for something like rem due to the stuns and energy regen, if you're somewhat close with Jerome I'd wait for him, rowan is also good but Jerome probably more beneficial especially for burst comps

Wukong is the carry for first few chapters (He's free)
2nd carry depends but if you do get Simona then shes your 2nd early carry - If you dont get her then just ask what to use in here or in #classic-questions
Rem is also 'free' but not really. She is garrisonable after a few days of playing (You get enough resources after a few days).

You only really have to worry about not getting a good carry if you think you're the unluckiest person in the world.

Fodders arent used in any comps. They're just there so you can reach lv160 cap easily. Read the guide it tells you why you ascend Fodders instead of actual heroes

You dont have to restart. Your account looks fixable if you just keep playing. You can use Grit later to 'fix' your mistakes (Ascending Thoran, Lyca and Belinda)

Lower power is completely meaningless. If they're lower power but using a sensible team comp (as opposed to whatever is going on there, wheres the charm?) and have better invest on their heroes (like maybe e60 lib and/or si30 Rowan) then their team is way more powerful so it makes sense they win and yours doesn't.

Alternatively, maybe they ran it on auto for 5 hours straight until they finally won. No way to know how many attempts it took

Hi all, i had a look at the starter guides and im still a little overwhelmed. Who is considered worth investing in for PvE progress?

For campaign, Ivan and rem is recommended

you'll want to make your fodders L+ first (those heroes that have color blue borders when you get them from scrolls). You do that to get your other heroes to level 160 fast when you use resonating crystal. You can later on use those fodders to make your other heroes mythic. Or ascended

wukong also helps a lot apparently before lvl 100. I haven't read the guide when I first started so I haven't used him

when I got to around ch20, I used rem, ivan, brutus, atheus, and oden/palmer/thoran a lot. I don't know if that's the best way tho. You can check in the formations tab for reference too

yea I mean that's not really building. do whatever you want there. Levelling is fully reversible at any time. You can put people on and off rc. And if you put actual dust/exp in people you can get all of that back at any time with rickety cart. Gear also doesn't really matter much at all unless you're talking about strengthening mythic gear, in which case don't do that for gwyn

well I guess I should say don't do that for gwyn unless you're planning to spend a lot. Because actually building someone means ascending them, working on their SI, engraving them, and getting their furniture. And to do that for gwyn will cost a lot of money

there's nothing you can do with levels that can mess up your game. its 100% reversible. its designed for you to play around with people and try stuff out

yea but eventually is a very very long way off. And in reality most people will never get there. The likelihood of never getting their increases if you get frustrated and stuck because you have a bunch of useless L, L+ and M heroes and no one that can actually help you punch through the 20s in campaign. Plus by the time you do you've probably fallen behind in the other modes as peers picked up a whole bunch more rewards and then moved into TS and such sooner

It doesn't mean you should ascend him, you should go by priority heroes but you can grit him anyways so we can skip this mistake, and second don't ascend heroes at all until you have 6-8 copies of them and make sure they're priority heroes such (ivan-simona-naroko-villanele)

Otherwise Don't ascend heroes you can reach chapter 20~ using E+ heroes just fine with some team orginazstion
