This is almost certainly a dumb question, but does it even matter who I have in campaign with Daimon? Everyone but Daimon dies really quickly and I just rely on Daimon to carry (I'm using Daimon, Brutus, Rowan, Ivan, and Oden).

Working on someone doesn't really help, there's almost no place a L+ or below Lucretia will be used effectively, better to go straight to minimum/optimal investment in one pull session than be stuck building over time

Same idea with Tamrus - he’s been duo carrying with daimon the last 2 or 3 chapters. He jumps in, gets the Ivan shield, and lives until ulti. Problem with this level is too many thing escape and murder Palmer+Daimon. Then Ivan+Tamrus don’t have the damage to kill

your ivan is not getting into daimon, cause you have tamrus and palmer which are stronger than him

your carry has less power than other characters, he'll die instantly and you'll not have damage to pass stages

Tamrus has been doing more damage than Daimon. I can’t level Daimon more because I’m short 3x copies. Ivan shield on Tamrus has been amazing

After writing it out I used borrowed Rem to clear - next stage was back to being a breeze

You’ll get a daimon copy sooner or later by putting all the faction scrolls in gb, in the beginners guide it says 1 copy of celestial twins and then ascended luc 1* optional

hey im kinda new to the game (like 3 days in now and acc level 32) and im not really sure what to do with my party right now. my current setup is:
level 86 lucilla, level 91 daimon, level 68 raku, level 90 trishea, and level 67 solise (all heros elite no elite+)
and im looking to maybe switch raku out for either desira or silvina, both of which are elite+ right now and if i choose to do so i could ascend either to legendary but itd consume the other character and my oden. something im taking into consideration is also the fact i currently have 3 wilders, and dropping raku would make it so i have no 3 of a kind, so considering maybe taking desira and silvina and switching them out in place of raku and solise to make another 3 of a kind with graveborns??? idk i dont really know what would be the best course of action or if i should even be worrying about factions at this point in time, i just want to tweak my party because raku is honestly feeling kind of useless in my team for a long when i had him at-level with the others, and im currently stuck on 7-24 in the campaign. any help/insight would be appreciated, and i do have other characters but none of them really stand out as improvements to my party/would seem out of place to me

You are thinking in the wrong direction. Don't ascend using character with 4 skills. Faction bonuses will not provide you anything at this point of the game. And yes, raku is useless without big investments

Tank - brutus or/and sometimes thoran
Supports - nara (just the best girl, pulls one enemy and cc him), rowan (can help with his signature at mythic), ferael and oden (fear and steal energy), eironn (pulls enemies), lyca (haste buff), silas (sometimes can help a bit against healers). For lucky boys AEzizh

The only heroes that have to be ascended out of them are daimon, ivan and rowan(to mythic), others work at e/e+

Heroes that you mentioned are useless for this. You should pray all gods to give you ivan and he will do all the work paired with daimon.
I wish there was ivan 2 years ago. The game would have been much easier at my first playthrough.

Highly recommend restarting on a new server and reading the guides if you want to play the game long term consistently. Shouldn't take you longer than a month to reach ch 30

Standard party nowadays till ch31
Core - daimon carry and ivan as his hyper support
Tank - brutus or/and sometimes thoran
Supports - nara (just the best girl, pulls one enemy and cc him), rowan (can help with his signature at mythic), ferael and oden (fear and steal energy), eironn (pulls enemies), lyca (haste buff), silas (sometimes can help a bit against healers, becomes real anti-heal at mythic with signature). For lucky boys Awakened Ezizh.

The only heroes that have to be ascended out of them are daimon, ivan and rowan(to mythic), others work at e/e+.

In theory some carry heroes can be used as a substitute for daimon thanks to ivan, but there are not so much tests. I know one successful case of using eorin with ivan.

Wukong or mirael (but be sure to use only one of them) can be used as carry and hogan can be used as tank for super early chapters (100-120lvls) if you are unlucky.

@grizzled glacier you have good heroes for early game and didnt upgrade bad heroes but the thing you kinda need to know are how heroes work and the team synergy between heroes and then find a way how you want to build heroes if you like a hero thats not good but you want to build him anyway look for other heroes that pair well with him and build them sooner or later you will need more teams which makes the game harder but also more funn idk it sounds weird

Silas - OK, he's one of priorities in GB
Thoran - OK, maybe not as important as Silas but he'll serve you for long period untill you make Grezhul at least 203 (tho you need him with 9furnitures)
Izold - well.. used to be great hero but not anymore, basically 0 use so you may make him L+ to use as fodder
Cecilia - you'll ascend her eventually but as one of the last... in times of need you can make her L+ and use as fodder for core heroes such as Scarlet for example.
Brutus - as I mentioned above, you can use him with 1 copy without any gear, he's being used only because of his Immunity which makes him immortal for few seconds.

yes and no... unlocking hero will work for a moment but you gotta ascend them, upgrade Si, give furnitures and eventualy engrave. first row is your biggest priority, Daimon > Oden > Silas> Grezhul>Ferael>Ivan. that would be my priority based on its impact in early game, however your RNG gonna decide who gets more copies

until you improve Grezhul, thoran is best tank except brutus but don't stress about him, he has to be ascended but will do fine on lower tiers as well.
Ferael also works fine with elite but the more you invest the more CC he brings to the table

For lineup this works until chapter 31

Core - daimon carry and ivan as his hyper support
Tank - brutus or/and sometimes thoran
Supports - nara (just the best girl, pulls one enemy and cc him), rowan (can help with his signature at mythic), ferael and oden (fear and steal energy), eironn (pulls enemies), lyca (haste buff), silas (sometimes can help a bit against healers, becomes real anti-heal at mythic with signature). For lucky boys Awakened Ezizh.
The only heroes that have to be ascended out of them are daimon, ivan and rowan(to mythic), others work at e/e+.
Wukong or mirael (but be sure to use only one of them) can be used as carry and hogan can be used as tank for super early chapters (100-120lvls) if you are unlucky.
