Needs more friendly dmg then. You can try clearing R5 without Alna's gear and slap hers on Zol if you haven't done so already. Torne's whip is what I'm guessing kill him in the beginning, you'll need like 600+ dodge to evade that

I'm like 7 rc lower than your clear

if it won't work in several hours I will try it

cleared r1 with lion cuz it worked a lot better so had to use another pet for r5

Yeah, it gets tougher with units dying unexpectedly. Mostly weapon and boots is all you need on most of the units, the rest of the stuff is just 'there'.

Alna GB has enough sustain to last until Flora comes down

I'm sure there are other teams that work, but I used Alna GB to force a win when my Thoran was under-invested

Meaning I had to be creative with copied clear formations since I was moving Alna GB to a different stage

Early on I think Luc works interchangeably but it's been becoming more difficult to do the same in 38/39

awtalene is good early but falls off, you need to run Daimon due to his ability scaling with enemy strength; pushing a deficit makes Daimon strong

you should actually be keeping Daimon as your highest leveled character, everyone else should be lower than him. Daimon is the only char I would say it's ok to go ahead and just make L/L+ during the early game so you can raise his level cap

Currently on chapter 28, is there some decent allround team comp i can use here to progress further? Any particular champ i should focus on?

just the standard daimon + normal brutus + stallers/buffers will carry you to 30, your levels are quite a bit higher than mine so it shouldn’t be extremely difficult (though some stages will probably be “rng heavy”)

you can also try thoran cheese. basically find a way to gather everyone around thoran, so he can absorb all the damage from everyone and then slap kill everyone in one single ult. at your decreased deficit it might be less effective though, and it’s a bit difficult to learn, but it would be quite useful for multifights later on (I haven’t encountered them yet, so just using the expensive version with all the fancy supports)

also, try not to ascend heroes without having enough copies to bring them to A/M immediately. it just eats up your fodder for minimal stat gain. for best results, patiently wait until you can move them to A (with certain exceptions; M gives a nice additional skill for some characters)

I hated this stage too, remembered I used a decoy for fawkes + some way to bonk tasi to prevent banish. Couldn’t find my clear screenshot, but found this as one of my attempts (not reproducible for you; your grez does nothing as decoy unlike oden’s opening teleport)

either way, fawkes is more deadly than tasi. interrupt him first if you must choose between them

or you interrupt tasi if your daimon can start shielding before fawkes coffin

When u load into the level show us that formation, should be able to help a little more, but from what I can see ( this part is optiona) swap wu kongs levels to fawk, then have Rowan back middle, put Nara in front of any pesky mage or back liner and have oden and grezhul wherever u see best fit

at this point in the game, wukong should still work fine as the carry, just need others (e.g. oden, pippa (place on backline top or bottom, nara, fawkes) to distract the enemy so wukong can start the monkey business. if rowan has his potion store, use him to drop heals for monkey

regardless of tower but will help u a lot, DO NOT upgrade so much heroes. you've wasted shit ton of fodders for pointless upgrading, moreover most of heroes u upgraded are useless nowadays; before u start ascending hero make sure u have more copies of him (at lest 2x Elite+ so u can ascend him to mythic) legendary tier does nothing but wasting your resources

well no idea how good Belinda you got there but free heroes scales with your current level so I'd abuse her to proceed the campaign etc (my free belinda boosted my LB tower for example xd)
currently your Rosaline is waste of slot since there is no hero that would make use of her. according to your screenshot I'd go with following order: Hogan, Sonja, aBelinda, Rowan, Rosaline. and that will do till +- 160lvl or Belinda expires. After that I'd say that your RNG will decide. Since Daimon is my lovely carry I will always recommend him to focus on... BUT... if you get more copies of Eironn he is pretty good carry as well; problem is that Eironn falls off later on. however even if he falls off as a carry, he's still precious even in the late game as CC maker so don't worry about wasted investment 😉

just a quick note to specify factions;
Lightbringers: before Raine I'd put Lucius just for 2 copies of him so you'll be allowed to use him in many places like faction tower, time rift, etc. Raine becomes useful when ascended with furnitures so long way anyway.
Maulers: overall trashcan, however first hero u want to get is Brutus, it doesn't matter if he's elite or legendary(you want him for his immortality to let Daimon Snowball) then I'd focus on Skriath ( u want him on 3 furnitures) and Skreg (mauler tower booster and utilised in other places)
Wilders: the one you care the most here is Mishka; one of the best tanks in the game, good in campaign and bosses, precious in tower etc. first get 2 copies of Tasi and then u can go for Raku (tasi is lovely for campaign against difficult lineups with strong dmg dealers)
Graveborns: The best faction in the game and here few notes;
*Daimon, f2p wise the best carry in the game, you want to ascend him with 3 furnitures asap.
*Ferael, useful even on elite, gets insane on higher tiers due to his CC
*Thoran, since beginning till now I'm using him as my tank. even if you get better one, there is "Thoran cheese" waiting for you in the late game anyway
*Grezhul, not so good in the early game but OP later on. however he needs 9/9 furnitures and si30 in order to be strong

thats the lineup that will carry you till late game if you decide to invest in Daimon

And reset grez, only give him 120 for noe and max out one of the Aw heroes for more dmg output

well my dear, mauler tower is supposed to drain from the rest portion of willing to live tbh xD don't stress about it 2 much since its not worth to focus your resources on maulers comparing to other heroes that boost your campaign etc. the only hero I was focusing in mauler from beggining was Skriath since he is utilised in campaign and also can carry mauler tower pretty well. so far I found out issues in the frontline (at least in midgame)

so what I can suggest is to focus on 1 hero and keep other copies for the future, you don't want to have multiple legendaries but 1 ascended. My tactic was to upgrade hero until Mythic+ (cuz at that point u use only the same copies) and just then start with next hero

I assume here u want tip also, Afk arena is some kind of a test for your patience and imagination (or just IQ) I gave u lineup which u can use even in late game but sometimes you gonna swap the positions or even heroes. If u encounter hard dmg dealers like this witch in the middle and u die before her, swap Oden for Nara/ Eironn to pull her closer and eventually kill asap

you want to set brutus against CC frontline so he holds them with his immortality and sometimes put daimon away so he wont be interrupted and start his ultimate spam asap

For example u ascend a hero who only has 3/8 copies. That means u r gonna be stucked with that tier unless u get more copies. And u can't guarantee that u can get that hero by summoning

Personally I would start a new one. You can surpass this in the first week of playing. Daimon copies are def nice, but belinda and Lucius, aswell as Saurus are kinda outdated, Eiron is also nice but that's it. With a well rolled account you can do a lot better and should progress faster. Just read the beginner guide, if you really want to start playing optimal

If you can portal the Fereal and Daimon targets the Isabell you could manage it. Maybe try Oden in the middle. And Lyca or smth at Odens position

scroll up until u find any other person than you asking for advice, you'll see the same lineups, hero pulls and advices

#1 #2 #3 #5 core heroes, #4 flex
gets Grezhul 3f or 9f = thoran out,
gets Oden 3f - put instead of rowan and then ferael becomes flex

if u find issues just swap positions or be patient cuz it may happen that all u can do is just wait and lvl up/gear up heroes

what should do ? idk... start with studying #faq-resources , reading pins on #classic-questions and #lineup-help... or just simply scroll up cuz it may happen that some1 came up with THE SAME thing as you just did.
