Brutus is a good tank no matter what investment he has because he goes invulnerable, Lyca gives haste without investment which lets other hero’s ult faster

putting Lyca on a team can be the difference between a win/loss early game depending on the stage

you can almost certainly win by just fiddling around for a bit, but since your investments differ slightly from the expected course (no raku/thoran SI 30), you may not be able to copy 100% a clear from =afkhelper

i would recommend instead finding teams for a specific battle on there that you have the investment for (or that your lower deficit might make up for) and trying to patch together your own clear. looking briefly, a starting point might be~

1. charm comp

4. ldv lockdown (so throw in pop, mishka or maybe nemora, 1 or 2 dmg dealers)
5. lucretia comp

Your main 5 are pretty rough ngl. I would recommend start working on different heroes. Daimon, scarlet, Rowan, Oden, Fareal, Kren, Mishka, and astar are all great.

I did read it I only pulled 1 daimon, I don't know how to fix RNG?

Honestly reading three different guides was a bit convoluted but I feel like I followed what they suggested as RNG would permit.

Or was I supposed to stop progressing and wait for more daimons ?

@sharp cedar the big thing is: "DO NOT use 4-skill heroes as fodder for now, and stop ascending 4-skill heroes past Elite+." (from Bok's guide pinned in #classic-questions, which iirc has advice also on what to do if you don't pull Daimons, https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xcT34gPd9WS8Ivb9kZGmAP6qnoIzFFUUmyNETq1J_kg/edit)

you want to avoid ascending non-fodder heroes (the ones with 4 skills that you get as purple, not blue) until you have enough copies (8) of them to get to Ascended, with few exceptions. the most notable exceptions are pointed out in that bot link above: "Daimon, Rowan & Raku, as long as you have 4/8 copies of those, you do them first as they get their power from their Signature item, which will help a lot in early/mid game." for instance, as you do not have 8 copies of Eironn, we view it as a mistake that you ascended him past E+ (purple with a border).

of course, this is just for you to have the easiest start, and you may pursue other strategies if you like. beware, though, if you do differ from the advice here, then people here may not have the best suggestions for you as your account simply is at an unfamiliar game state

You usually don't need charm comp that early, it requires a fairly high Haste bonus from elder Tree and gear also helps, otherwise it won't cycle as it should

Swap Fera for Rowan. Fera's cc needs him to be lvl 141+ to be better than Arden anyways. Also, until you get Daimon M20 or some other carry at an equally powerful breakpoint, being able to push at 50% of enemy combat power is about as good as you can do, so you're killing it

The alternative to a Daimon carry or a Mirael carry is running Kren, but that takes a lot more retries and game knowledge to pull off, for not a lot more progress

general rule of thumb is to hide daimon in a corner; he is NOT a frontline hero despite being a tank

you should be getting a guy named Brutus as a reward soon; his immunity stall lets Daimon ramp up

what i'm saying is that you should hide daimon behind brutus in the corners; otherwise just trial and error your formation

also you're very lucky to have pulled atalene; put her in the front

i would suggest starting over and reading all the pinned guides; you're not that far into the game

a lot of those heroes in that priority list have roles

for support try to get rowan/silas/nevanthi as priority

for tank try to get daimon/mishka as priority

if your wishlist is set correctly, youll get them eventually

Seems like a decent choice considering Arden gives mostly dmg and dmg prevention and Skreg can tank more than Arden can prevent anyway. Dmg should be more/even I assume

It's up to you, I would personally. You'll still make progress with what you have, it'll just be slower and not optimal

Really you're going to want to try out the heroes yourself. Play around with the formations, resetting Heroes isn't a big deal. The more you do this the more you'll learn and that way you won't have to ask for help for every stage you can't beat.

I was being very unwise and just using a purely Ascended Hero lineup consisting of Wu Kong+, Zaphrael, Ezizh, Lucretia, & Flora.

I think it would be a good idea to switch to a Legendary Hero lineup instead of Transcended, and I'm not sure if you want to mix factions or just stick to mainly one. If so, I like the edginess of the Graveborns and wonder what the best lineup for them would be

Wow I forgot how painful the early game is. Can try using Brutus or aBrutus for frontline just cuz they're able to stall fine without any real stats. Maybe run Rowan - Brutus - Daimon - Oden - X, where X is Nara, Athalia, or aEzizh (Athalia best if you have her, Nara if you have neither.) Goal is mainly to keep Daimon alive until ult so he can start carrying, position unit 5 mirroring whoever the scariest enemy unit is (most likely their biggest dps, but can also interrupt whatever healer, supp, or debuffer is messing you up the most) and try to keep Daimon and Oden adjacent to Rowan, there's no reason for your interrupter to be in range of Rowan's skills if you can avoid it.

But if you can't avoid it then just set Rowan in slot 4, or interrupter in slot 4 with Rowan in 1 or 2 and Daimon directly behind him.

yea i been pushing to chp 23 through just Rowan - Brutus - Daimon - Oden - thoran and swapping rowan/oden for nara, it works until me is stuck now. Im not sure if im at the point now where i just wait for copies of heroes/more investment or try to level daimon higher.
