You want to ascend more fodders

(In levels 0-100, if you don't get a copy of Daimon early, you should level Wukong to level 100, then reset him and focus on Fodders or Daimon if you have 4 copies of him, otherwise level fodders and put Daimon on crystal. Read the pinned guide for more information and how to get Wukong.)

You do this to see what hero you get the most copies of to eliminate RNG.
This is not to make the mistake of making many heroes L without the copies for L+, essentially just wasting fodder.
Remember, 1 Ascended hero > 40 L heroes. L doesn't give anything worth compared to Ascending a hero fully.

When you're level capped at 160, you take the L+ fodder you build and feed it into an A-tier hero, so you can level to 180.
This is because you need an L+ fodder to take an L+ Ascended tier to M. You need 8/8 copies of a hero to ascend them to A (4 to L+ and 4 to A = 8).

Make sure it's a priority hero, and the one closest to 8/8 copies (Unless Daimon, Rowan & Raku, as long as you have 4/8 copies of those, you do them first as they get their power from their Signature item, which will help a lot in early/mid game).
(+30 Rowan > +30 Raku as your first priorities. Daimon only needs +20 and is a priority over Rowan and Raku.)

Depending on your RNG your lineup could change a bit.

Level Daimon higher than everyone else because he is your carry

I need some guidance with team building. With chapter 30 in sight I want to start planning my 2 teams better. If possible I'd like to build teams that have decent overlap for Campaign and Rift as well as not be too bad for other game modes. As for an Ainz Comp I have only 15 shards of Arthur and LDV each so they are months away from unlock and no Mortas yet. Mostly using Daimon, Rowan, Oden, Brutus and Flex pick so far

great, with 300 reds you can run the most common 2nd comp in campaign which is raku charm, requires one copy of mehira and windbinder(in trial of gods) as well as rowan. could alternatively do albedo and run ainz with yen for the AR% bonus but i have no idea how well theyll go, but theyre a great addition to other gamemodes for sure.

for charm comp you dont have to do it rn, you havent hit multis and dont have windbinder either. when the time comes you could stargaze her yea, but there's a slight possibility of obtaining her between all this time.

if you're a fast pusher, take it
if not, then you could start taking it next exchange event
although there are a lot of factors that should be taken into consideration, it is still pretty cheap so some would advocate to take it either way

You do this to see what hero you get the most copies of to eliminate RNG.
This is not to make the mistake of making many heroes L without the copies for L+, essentially just wasting fodder.
Remember, 1 Ascended hero > 40 L heroes. L doesn't give anything worth compared to Ascending a hero fully.

When you're level capped at 160, you take the L+ fodder you build and feed it into an A-tier hero, so you can level to 180.
This is because you need an L+ fodder to take an L+ Ascended tier to M. You need 8/8 copies of a hero to ascend them to A (4 to L+ and 4 to A = 8).

Make sure it's a priority hero, and the one closest to 8/8 copies (Unless Daimon, Rowan & Raku, as long as you have 4/8 copies of those, you do them first as they get their power from their Signature item, which will help a lot in early/mid game).
(+30 Rowan > +30 Raku as your first priorities. Daimon only needs +20 and is a priority over Rowan and Raku.)

I don’t remember a lot about the earlier chapters, a lot was trial and error for me… some things to try:

1. if Daimon is dying early (before his ultimate triggers), put him in the back behind a tank like Brutus.
2. use Brutus! Either as your only / main tank, or in addition to Thoran - his 7s invincibility makes him very good even at E+ (I’m still using him at E+in chapter 38)
3. Raku probably won’t do much for you until he gets M and SI30 - try other supports in his place like Silas, Ferael, Oden, Nara…

Reading the guides will help prevent similar mistakes in the future
