after prioritizing daimon, yeah imo you shouuld level it equally. you are pretty much levelling fodders at that point, if you prioritize one over the other it wouldnt really make sense as you barely use them

I have 2 resonating crystal slots to use, who should I put into it to help with 7-2? I'm thinking maybe just reset Scarlet in favour of Daimon or Wukong, but they didn't seem to be as effective as she was up until now

im not sure how effective scarlet is but i can guarantee that daimon is pretty strong. I got to chapter 12 with an Elite + daimon on my alt iirc

Scarlet has honestly been carrying me quite heavily thus far

But I think she's hitting her limit due to my paper thin frontline not being able to protect her

She does immense damage, I swapped Silas for Oden for some additional CC & that seemed to work on 7-2 & 3, but the problem still remains of frontline issue.

I can reset Scarlet for Daimon & see how he compares.

Will it be the sameish line up that I have now? Or would I add/remove anyone

(I assume my game being in Korean isn't an issue given that you probably know that the menus are instinctively, if not, I can swap to English)

if your frontline is bad, and you dont have better tanks, you could always put additional cc or use bruteforce and use a buffer instead(lyca). i dont think athalia would be able to do anything there so it would probably better to swap her out.

or alternatively you can try wukong frontline and see how it goes. if he ults it's a pretty good stall

Athatlia's sole purpose is to snowball HP advantage, she hits a core target & lets me start building energy on Scarlet w/o being hassled

saurus/lucretia is a nice merc for early game players for guild bosses and scarlet when later on.

scarlet is usually the choice but given that early game players do not have things built out chances are scarlet will kill the entire team, including herself

that's one factor. another factor is that scarlet's ultimate skill has a chance to hit teammates so the mercenary scarlet would likely ultimate and kill the whole team

I'd also recommend you follow the beginner guide cuz i can see you're level capped.
You get fodders to L+ and level THEM to 160 or so. Put your important heroes on resonating crystal, if u didn't unlock it yet try running your team with fodders
you can reset your heroes in rickety cart. Get more info in #classic-questions pinned messages

This is not to make the mistake of making many heroes L without the copies for L+, essentially just wasting fodder.

When you're level capped at 160, you take the L+ fodder you build and feed it into an A-tier hero, so you can level to 180.
This is because you need an L+ fodder to take an L+ Ascended tier to M. You need 8/8 copies of a hero to ascend them to A (4 to L+ and 4 to A = 8).

Make sure it's a priority hero, and the one closest to 8/8 copies (Unless Daimon, Rowan & Raku, as long as you have 4/8 copies of those, you do them first as they get their power from their Signature item, which will help a lot in early/mid game).
(+30 Rowan > +30 Raku as your first priorities. Daimon only needs +20 and is a priority over Rowan and Raku.)

I'm not sure how much you've spent but if you would like a fair competitive chance you should start on a new server however if you don't mind going at your own pace and not worrying about the end-game you would want to use Grezhul + Brutus or Thoran as your frontline asap and then Talene / Daimon as your carry and Silas or Rowen as your support in the back middle (I recommend Silas with Daimon and Talene for an easier time)

Yeah, he’s the dps carry. Rowan is great since he speeds up energy generation with his potions. Lyca is good for her haste buff. Brutus is good for his 8 second immunity - gives Daimon longer to build energy. The last spot is a flex space usually for cc like eironn, Nara, Ferael. You can also slot a support dps in that fifth spot if needed - cc is usually better though

ok so i'm a new player and i'm completely green with team formation and anything regarding ascensions and which heroes to upgrade or to not upgrade at all. i've read multiple guides online but they all seem to be saying different things so decided to ask here!

i used to play the game a few years ago but i remember dropping it pretty early on (around ch15 ish?), mostly because i did some mistakes with wrong ascensions and it just got hard to play.

so my question here is, is it fine to upgrade ascended heroes from the very beginning or is it risky in case i do not get more copies of them? i'm currently running daimon as my carry, Baden and Thoran on front-line, and Lyca/Ferael on the back. i've seen some advices in guides saying it's better to initially roll with legendary heroes which can be later used as fodder, so rn i'm torn whether i can continue leveling the heroes i got or if i should make any changes before it's too late.

You're running into the classic issue most people have; how to break level cap. If you had focused on 5 heroes to ascend to L+ (instead of a litany of heroes to L), your cap would've been 160 which is a solid level for a lot of the early chapters while you build up your priority heroes.

This is the reason I would consider restarting the account.

If you're going to stick with this account, I think you'll just have to wait until you can get 5 heroes to L+.

Getting 5 Ascended heroes allows you to unlock all non-engraving skills, it’s a solid power spike, and you are no longer level-capped so you can grow much more quickly

Unless you’re spending money, there are easily 15-20 heroes from regular 10x pulls that are as important and much cheaper

You ascend fodders to L+ and level them to 160 when you start in the early game.

(In levels 0-100, if you don't get a copy of Daimon early, you should level Wukong to level 100, then reset him and focus on Fodders or Daimon if you have 4 copies of him, otherwise level fodders and put Daimon on crystal. Read the pinned guide for more information and how to get Wukong.)

You do this to see what hero you get the most copies of to eliminate RNG.
This is not to make the mistake of making many heroes L without the copies for L+, essentially just wasting fodder.
Remember, 1 Ascended hero > 40 L heroes. L doesn't give anything worth compared to Ascending a hero fully.

When you're level capped at 160, you take the L+ fodder you build and feed it into an A-tier hero, so you can level to 180.
This is because you need an L+ fodder to take an L+ Ascended tier to M. You need 8/8 copies of a hero to ascend them to A (4 to L+ and 4 to A = 8).

Make sure it's a priority hero, and the one closest to 8/8 copies (Unless Daimon, Rowan & Raku, as long as you have 4/8 copies of those, you do them first as they get their power from their Signature item, which will help a lot in early/mid game).
(+30 Rowan > +30 Raku as your first priorities. Daimon only needs +20 and is a priority over Rowan and Raku.)
