After you've been doing the same thing for years and its basically copy pasta people it becomes rather routine. Fun doesn't have to have ingame rewards and almost preferrable it doesn't since then you don't have to make compromises to maximize rewards

1. LC (if they can), HOE and high level less common PVP with much less random
2. Trift (way wayyy above 300)
3. AE

None of those are rewards based prizes. its all cosmetics and prestige

Camp too but lilith may have killed that one off

Its also why you saw a real competition form around IJ far beyond its rewards

They also used to have another prestige mode, each new pet came with a zero limit competition with a rank plate. People actually loved that
