Invest all your exp/levels into one carry. Once you max them then start leveling other heroes.

Gorren and Randle are the best. If you don't get one of them you can use wukong until you open one of them. Wukong is viable until about level 100. At which point he drops off fast and you will need a new carry.

yeah that's why you can't level them to your next reso level

like if they're level 11 and you unlock reso 12 they can't be used on the pentagram and you get the copies back
