one copy elthara is very good. TS is the only mode you can't merc heroes and yet building her is a barely noticeable performance boost while ody is a new hero. NC requires her to be built but her comps are kind of ass, her real r3 to free misha requires seren and big pony, her cheaper r3 with levi is worse than envy's version and basically requires begris e60, and her r5 is also mid. I have two accounts. One that went Ody and one that went Elthara, the Elthara account isn't even using her in NC. Finally CR one copy isn't terrible but if really needed you can sub or merc.

Most of all Elthara is a very expensive hero. She wants basically max invest and a kraken coll to maximize ero and mp. Easier to merc a huge elthara than to build it

With her working so well at 1 copy, going Ody is basically having 2 HBs while going elthara is only an upgrade to an already working one

Because:

• Option 1 is only one more per hero per month over option 2 (for F2P) and has no chance for awakened
• Option 2 has awakened
• Option 3 has higher chance but you ONLY get 1 hero per month
• Option 4 is literally just scrolls with chance for anything except dragons

scrolls you have a wishlist, which hard caps the hero pull at 20 + wokes

we have 4 whole generations of wokes (aka 24), of which only 4 are relevant for new players

so even if you do get woke, there's only a 1/6 chance that it's not useless

Different unit excels in different part of the games and are used differently
Some units are just not that useful and are just faction tower heroes
Some untis are just in general good for most content that requires multiple teams

It really boils down to what you want to do.

hell even the collections you use also boil to the actual gamemode you're interested in
