perk level 4 is extremely high value but mostly just shortens the time between meaningful coll runs compared to standard perk. if you have a stockpile of cards and totems you'll find any level of perk to be very high value cause of the ability to double card

I’m pretty sure Ashem/knox/dae are far more important for 9f. I’d consider 1 carding heroes to finish prio 9f. Maybe worth carding dae once you finish her.

Jerome/alvida are nice to have but 100% not worth carding

i think it doesn’t matter much, spenders will have a hard edge on f2p players in either mode, but you can still rank high given enough time and good investment choices. i like classic because it has more heroes and fun gamemodes
companions might be fun too, have not tried
