Depends on the app you use put if you wanna do anime shading i recommend getting a lighter shade of the colour and doing zig zag thick lining of that light shading well depends on the texture really, for glow shading i recommend a brush tool of lighter and darker shades of the colout aswell as light gradients of other colours, and for realistic shading i recommend doing a pattern of lighter and darker shades and then bluring them or stroke blur them into a hair texture, or into a groove of the texture your going for
again it depends on what you use to digital draw
And if you wanna keep the shadows in the figure then make a new layer do the shading then erase it to look neatly but only on a shading layer not the layer with actual drawing
