If you go to the heroes section and go to portraits, you will see ascended heroes and Legendary. (See photos below) Legendary is your fodder. These are the ones that come in the blue frame when you pull them (and low chance on pull they can already be ascended to Elite, purple frame). The highest they can be ascended to is Legendary+.

Ascended start in the purple frame (and some like awakened and highborn dragons in yellow frame) and they can be ascended all the way up 5 star ascension. These are the heroes that matter in the game, the ones you will actually be using.

What is important to note is that ascended heroes require two legendary+ fodder to ascend up, and legendary+ has a level cap of 160.

So if you blow all your fodder taking a bunch of ascended tier heroes to legendary you are gonna find yourself stuck at a 160 level cap for a very long time as you then try to get a ton more fodder to ascend up your minimum 5 heroes to break the level cap on the ascension crystal. So focus initially on getting at least ten fodders to legendary+ so you can be ready to take your initial 5 meta heroes to mythic+ to break the level cap. (And while Rosaline has uses she’s not really a good meta character for this purpose).

And as some are talking above eventually you can get to a point where you can also use crappy ascended tier heroes as you fodder but for right now don’t even remotely think about doing that lol.

Because if you waste your fodder taking a large amount of ascended tier heroes to Legendary (which caps at level 160) you will be waiting for ages to then collect enough fodder to get five meta heroes to mythic and ascended to break those level caps.

And there is very little benefit in performance between elite+ and legendary+. They don’t gain anything by that. But at mythic you gain signature items and ascended you gain furniture then engraving at 1 star and those are huge benefits.

But if you are stuck at 160 because you have a dozen legendary and no fodder to ascend them when you start getting up to 8-10 copies everything is gonna slow down drastically for you because you will find yourself unable to progress in campaign and tower.

People complain that you cant enroll individually anymore. You need to be in a guild with atleast 30 active Players and then the GM can enroll the guild.

Once GF starts you are matched vs other guilds. Leagues dont exist anymore so you can also not hop between them. But you can swap guilds if you feel the need to.

Also they added 4 Leagues so after the first round the top guilds will fight against each other and the casual ones are paired vs their own

So its alot better and easier for most players

Those who complain are the ones who hopped leagues and leeched off of others

So yeah i dont like those people

The matchmaking change alone is great, last Seasons it looked like that most of the time

1-3 big guilds and the rest has no chance

So yeah people who are not ultra casual should easily find guilds that have enough people to play GF properly

I found out why AFK Arena was lagging at Celestial Isles. Clean up your gear if possible.

If you have so many gear taking up bag, it results in bigger table the game has to iterate through thus causing a lot of lag.

Each individual faction and rarity count as separate item and for some reason, gear is also tracked individually. The bag only combines similar gear.

Sure if you wanna build specific for the Graveborn tower because you just have resources sitting around because everything else is built then they are good for that tower, but they still are not seeing any real usage outside of that tower.

Factional tower usage though is a terrible metric for determining how useful a hero is elsewhere.

You should have one and working on your second one it all depends on where you at in faction towers

Well how should the mentor know? If the mentor thinks there's not even rewards for these missions for the disciple, cuz how would they know, they would chose the quest which is easiest to achieve by the disciple. And that's definitely not the labyrinth quest

The quest are also kinda timed with the rest, and to have ur disciple succeed they have to fulfill them all, so for example if they do all normal quest but never touch the labyrinth they're taking twice as long

Did they get rid of what the rewards are on the mentor side I haven't been a mentor in a while but I know when I used to be one it used to show me what the mentally get

You have a full week to complete the quest as a apprentice if they don't complete it within that week that's on them as long as you sent them the right quest you can't be at blame if they don't complete the quest they don't lose out

Sure but they fk over the whole time management plan, at the end every normal quest is solved and they're on personal quest duty
