Typically what I like to do is since you have to make so many ascended heroes to get your first dimensional key and I love dimensions I don't know about you I usually make a couple of heroes that are not necessarily used anywhere so I can use them as link heroes some people say that's a waste of food heroes but it makes it where I can use all of my top tier heroes in battles plus my dimensions

Don't fret, and don't panic either, Lilith chose to not inform new players about how they were all brought to companions right at the start, and expect everyone to just keep playing there, you can switch to classic by going into the game settings, on top right there should be a 'Classic Servers' button, click it and choose the newest server to start your new adventure, you can also go back into your companions mode at any moment by switching back to Companions Servers

You can use it for content that’s easy and doesn’t require a good working comp anyway such as laby. So you have the progress secured and your archer type fun

progress in this game doesn’t really lend itself to creativity like that, BUT you definitely can play with the archer archetype for fun! dragon gwyneth will definitely take a while to build (probably a year for you), but can try heroes like regular gwyneth, vurk, lyca, awakened lyca, ferael, and robin hood

and out of those, awakened lyca is definitely your best bet lol

Classic has a lot more gamemodes, heroes and is overall a lot more chill.

I just realized Baden is way stronger than Envydiel because Envy only deals dmg to 1 enemy at a time. And each Shadow distracts from the actual Baden. So once Envy has taken down 1 Shadow there are still 2 to go and Baden already spawns a third one again. Meaning Envy can never dmg Baden and Baden beats Envy

Building the basic pets on companions is a lot more easier than building the basic pets on classic but building the awoken pets is a pain in the ass on companions but they're a whole lot easier on classic

Things they don't tell you: New accounts get an unspecified period of extreme luck boost, in order to tempt the player into spending and realistically, spending this early actually does mean you get way ahead of your competition, because you take advantage of the boost

Well, 0.1% coming up twice quickly is extremely rare but it's not unheard of, regardless having an old account is very disadvantageous to you even with massive luck boost, you just can't catch up with other people who went leaps and bound ahead of you by now

If you play casually without worrying about comparing yourself with others then enjoy the game for what it is and build ones you enjoy playing with the most, but if you think about trying to compete, consider restarting on newest server and follow the public guide on #classic-questions

Is it just me or One Punch Man is much worse than Walker? I thought Walker was the most useless hero in this game, but One-Big-Nothing Man is much worse. No matter what composition of the team I have, no matter that I have him almost maxed... his damage output is laughable that even Lucius have higher. Like for real... one of the biggest dissapointment so far. One punch man what is so usless that there is not a single reason to get him. I feel sad that I spent all these resources to get useless parody of One Punch Man.

They purposely designed Saitama to be a 'tank support' with closest comparison being Alna, possibly because the last time they made a dim hero completely overpowered (Ainz, for his time anyway), it caused massive player loss due to F2P being able to destroy spenders by relying on just this one hero

So in the future, any hero who are overpowered in their universe lore, were not designed to match their universe settings

Which included Rem (still hard hitting but nowhere near as deadly as Ainz was), Rimuru (ruler of his anime), and now Saitama (kill everything in his anime)
