It would be cool if there's a new mode where there's a tower of sorts but you can't use the same heroes again for subsequent floors. You can go back and reset floors to use the heroes again.

There could be probably 30 floors or even more. Encourages using even off-meta and worst heroes for the early floors.

Think of it as like Maze of Tartarus from Last Cloudia where any units you used to clear a floor cannot be used in subsequent floors.
