There are also Tactical Drills, essentially a puzzle battle. You're given a limited pool of heroes of set levels and must make use of battlefield features to beat it.

Solo Crucible, a battle where you can only put one hero and make use of buffs to beat the battle. Crystal Defense where you have to protect the crystals from getting destroyed by enemies in a multi-wave battle.

Special battles are what AFK1 should have.
