If you have a good DPS carry that can solo the opposing team then Mortas can buff them up. In forked fate I'll sometimes use mortas and Talene on the same team

Talene tends to die instantly outside of boss battles though and takes a while to revive. In campaign she's useful moreso because it's free damage even if you haven't invested in her

Bad heroes will die instantly and do nothing but even if Talene dies instantly she can come back and do a little more than nothing

Does big damage in bosses though

Your own heroes will be quite irrelevant once you find a decent duo

Once you start getting acended heroes you won't need a duo much anymore

Until lv 160 just put the 3 skill heroes in your resonance crystal since they're easy to get to Legendary+

Then afterwards you sacrifice them to heroes you can actually ascend

Otherwise you might end up using all your materials on heroes you don't have enough dupes of to ascend

gwyneth needs the right tank and support, he needs rowan first + rosa. I dont see any tank and healer that is good for her on what he has. And unless he's focusing on lb, he won't get much of her early

rowan would make sense if he'd build a shemira comp 2nd but he does not - for daimon he can also just use brutus frontline / maybe grez if he decides to push him, who is not completly garbage pre a5 (but obv also no carry yet, just a stall - like a oku would be)

we can have different opinions, but you should know that his "duo value" goes up since he could share a useful hero for plenty people who do not have gwyneth early on, aswell as taking advantage of an even better, potentially higher leveld rowan by havng a "more intresting / valueable hero"

Personally I find that having a Rowan at mythic allows me to prioritize borrowing better heroes for GH and DR

But I think a big thing that I would be missing experience with is building a team without shalltear

(obv you could say but i could pull in 20 pulls mythic equip, 30k gems, with luck a hero and more - but thats just gambling and on average the worse option)

It's tough to pick 1-2 heroes because each faction has quite a few really good, useful heroes.
