Im used to classic being comically easy to auto battle to 300 on and since my conpanions acc is day 1 i just assumed the same and didnt put much thought into it but now im floor 250 using multiple resets a floor on the same team and idk what to piece together with what i selected/beckoned

Lucretia, one-man army, but you need to build the team around her so that she pop off. I mainly use her backline, niche occasions where frontline was working/needed. I usually place her behind brutus at either spot 3 or 5.
Mehira, good sustain to tank enemy backline as she heals with her kit too, and has "extra" life with her summoned minions (they dont count as summons i believe), She works well with a lot of comps/teams, including behind Saitama. He likes her. She does decent damage as well and has cc where upon casting (if not resisted) the affected enemies attack each other. Also has energy recovery + haste for 8 secs to allies hit by her whip.
Mortas, at A5 SI20/SI30 would do decent damage, but mainly his buff of course, or simply as hypo buff fodder in the hypo team/or Lucretia team with his ult buff as extra bonus if he gets to cast it.
Mezoth, there is not much needed to be said - simply lovely. Even at high deficit, if you fully build him out (A5, T2 equipment, SI30), he will give you back a lot in most game modes (except guild bosses/DR). He benefits a lot from health and def stat increases.
Framton, his grouping isnt considered cc, similar to Skriath's centering, great damage dealer, certainly rank 1 of hypos imo, alongside mezoth. He is very versatile in his use and team comps.
Maetria, hard dmg dealer with a cheat death, deals good dmg even if she is in her fire ball state. She revives if your teams has used 15 ults or when all other heroes are dead.
Cant say much about, Zolrath, Ziki or Khazard, as I havent maxed those. Thats a short overview of them, though potentially have forgotten/overlooked something.@weak blaze
