That doesn't change the fact that the spots in the ranking are limited, despite DUOing or the arena you choose

In fact, spots in the ranking are also halved

since, arena A is for pair and B or odd numbers

Make it with numbers. Say the top 10 players from server X....

They fall into a Region with 4 servers

So the top 10 players of 4 servers, with their 2 previous arenas, are now 80 guys, who previously used to be in the top 10 bracket

1. Best case scenario, they split their map selection -> Those 80 guys would normally end up filling the 80 top ranks

2. Worst case scenario, they all chose SAME map. They will fill ranks down to rank 160.

And, those numbers are not like a crazy conspiranoic thought. Just, assigning the number of players into their approximately brackets according to the new pool of players they'll have to play against.

In other words, for some (few) players it will turn around possitively. For the vast majority, the impact of their new rank will be such a slap on their face.

We'll be able to check that in 2 Sundays from now. But who knows. They did a ninja change today, maybe more coming before this rollercoaster is established in live servers.
