I notice that in that guide usually it says that a colls lvl 2 or lvl 3 is average/bad/very bad but the reasoning basically boils down to "It's not worth using resources to try and get it" but if you happen to get the +1 levels for it is it still worth putting it on?

I wouldn’t etch a single skill level on flight over a good stat, but if you have nothing else for that slot it’s fine. It’s not actively harmful, it’s just the opportunity cost of that slot

I have a low opinion of +2 dancer, personally, but I'm open to changing my mind if there's enough situations where it's somehow a notable benefit

So the big thing about flight (and, I assume, all other coll skill CC) is that it uses the hero's IS. Someone like Liberta, who has 0 innate IS, will have a 0% chance of landing that CC against any enemy with 50+ TY, so the skill is effectively completely dead/useless in that scenario.

I believe there is an issue with the collections feature that is not user-friendly for players. When we enter TS, it resets all previous settings. Consequently, we must reconfigure everything in TS, which is quite laggy. Additionally, each stage requires setting up again, making the process cumbersome and inconvenient.
Does anyone else feel the same way?

TS doesn't reset formations, it saves it to that colour
So your formations are exactly as they were in that same TS 8 weeks ago
Only time it might mess up is if you let a Garrison expire (idk how this works but it'd only affect the team that hero was on)

It's intended because you don't normally run the exact same teams in the exact same order for all 4 TS

It's a double edged sword. It's better to have collections saved in formations when you set teams, rather then whatever you have on those heroes when teams lock. It makes it suboptimal to try to push campaign/cr/nc around each of the rounds start times.

Think of the formations of a snapshot in time of your heroes that are used; whenever you open that formation, it loads the current snapshot to those heroes. Then when you leave the formation screen after editing, it takes another snapshot and will use those collections/teams in the next TS round.

Pretty sure there is something wrong with the saving/loading of collections atm, so it probably isn't working as intended

its situationally fine for anyone that needs watch in CR. There are specific rounds where having watch on naroko, for example, fixes timing issues. you'll have to try it on your various IS based tanks each CR and see when it helps.

But AwShem is the only one that ever does dmg so you're better off just using it as an IS watch and following what Kaia said above

if you are just starting out anything is better than nothing but at some point you should be upgrading to exclusively colls with at least 1 M stat (and ideally more, eventually)

that guide is overall fine, just a couple thoughts of my own to add

+2 flight with IS has been shown to have very high impact in actual pvp testing (not me just theorycrafting that it's good)

useless in NC and unclear impact in CR (the CC is single target and positional so I would expect it to introduce RNG)

so most people aren't in a position to run a +2 skill run for a coll that is largely for one mode

but it is really good there

also I think people forget that +2 armor takes a while to ramp- a +0 armor with offensive stats instead is straight up better in pvp and NC

It is mostly because some modes, if enabled, save/load the last collections used when you opened and battled in that mode. (IE. NC/CR) It would work as intended if it properly reset the collections to what it was prior to entering the mode, but it doesn't. Which is partially because when you use autobattle on said modes. It autoupdates collections/gears/tree if you change it in the middle of autobattling.

There is a couple of things that you need to remember (or understand).

• Each time you enter into formation edit mode - your collection will be switched into "last saved/used" for
  -- pvp modes like TS/Arena/championship (always)
  -- pve modes (if you have enabled "save last collection" option ON). Kings tower count as a single mode, even thou there is a different towers including one tower that using all heroes - this one is messed up and should be saved per tower, not per whole mode, but it is what it is.
• each time you are using "copy formation" and apply this formation - it will try to use same collection as you have with similar stats, messing up with your equipped collections big time (you can't disable or avoid this - so do NOT use "copy formation").

They are basically loot modifiers for your collection runs. Each one will in someway effect the drops you get while doing your collection runs. The gold ones are almost always better then the blue/purple, but some of them can be very situational.

Just acquired the totems to do another +2 run, trying to decide for which collection. I already have good vault/wings/oculus/bondage (1 each), 1 ok’ish armor and 1 terrible - but it feels like it’s good enough due to celerity being lower in power atm.
I’m leaning toward either going for another wings (due to its high usage and varied stat requirements) or cover (the +2 is nice to have, and if I’m unlucky it’s not bad to get +1)

+2 Oden collection for Abelinda is pretty strong, useful in general for any mages that spam ults.

+2 tank (forgot the name but the one that steals 8% health) for alucius with defence/erosion is strong but considering its only good on him you can probably skip.
