Ok sooo I have already bought tickets to both Shibuya Cyclone and Circus. I'm at least going to be in Cyclone until The Ohayogozaimas ends at 18:05. And I want to see Broken by the Scream too which starts like 14:00 already 🫠

I don’t remember the name of the shrine and don’t have the paper with me so I can’t check it. But there’s a parade starting at 10pm that leads to the shrines. They worship foxes so a lot of people (so I’ve read online) wear fox masks or get their faces painted. I’m planning on renting a kimono/yukata overnight for this. I’ll make a separate thread for it like someone’s asked when I get home tonight or on the train tomorrow.

My advice is not to go to Oji Inari fox parade if you don’t participate to the parade itself. That one is awfully crowded!

You will be disappointed. It’s very crowdy and kimono won’t really help you (and it’s cold at midnight). I’d really advice to avoid that event if you didn’t register for the parade itself.
